To be able to appropriately reproduce content received from a plurality of source devices in a sink device, without exceeding a decoding capability of the sink device.Provided is a decoding apparatus including: a wireless communication unit configured to establish a wireless connection with a plurality of encoding apparatuses; a decoding unit configured to decode pieces of content received from the plurality of encoding apparatuses via the wireless communication unit; a reproduction unit configured to reproduce the plurality of pieces of content decoded by the decoding unit; and a control unit configured to control an encoding condition of each of the plurality of encoding apparatuses for content in a manner that a required decoding capability required by a set of the pieces of content to be reproduced by the reproduction unit does not exceed an actual decoding capability of the decoding unit.

To be able to appropriately control data communication between a plurality of information processing devices using wireless communication.An information precessing device receives a stream for outputting image information from another information processing device by using wireless communication, the information processing device including a wireless communication unit and a control unit. The wireless communication unit performs communication to exchange capability information regarding the information processing device and capability information regarding the other information processing device with the other information processing device. The control unit performs control in a manner that multi-reception diversity of the stream related to the other information processing device is set based on the capability information regarding the other information processing device and a use of the information processing device.

The wireless communication unit performs communications with the other information processing apparatus for exchanging capability information on the information processing apparatus and capability information on the other information processing apparatus. The control unit performs a stream data transmission rate control relating to the other information processing apparatus, according to the capability information on the other information processing apparatus, radio propagation measurement information on communications with the other information processing apparatus, and usage of the information processing apparatus.
Abstract:
To provide a stable high speed wireless network, the relay process is solved at the lower layers (PHY layer, MAC layer) without depending on upper layers to reduce the load of the upper layers to the utmost. Discrimination is made between a packet of one's own station and a relay packet to process the presence and absence of the relay packet without using a CPU to construct a wireless network executing the relay processing at a high speed. Further, the retransmission is executed without using a CPU to provide a stable wireless network. In addition, the table for relay process (routing table) is constantly updated to add to the table the information of the packets of which processes are not executed to eventually suppress unnecessary processes.
