Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to jamming detection for radio frequency (RF) front-end circuitry. For example, certain aspects provide an apparatus having a first counter configured to count a number of times that a power of a reception signal exceeds a first threshold. The apparatus also includes a second counter configured to count a number of measurements of the power of the reception signal. The apparatus further includes control logic having a first input coupled to an output of the first counter and having a second input coupled to an output of the second counter. The control logic is configured to determine an amount of jamming over a measurement window based on the number of times that the power of the reception signal exceeds the first threshold and on the number of measurements.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a wireless user equipment (UE) establishing and utilizing a reference timing for a carrier or cell with multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs). A UE may receive a downlink signal on each of a plurality of component carriers (CCs), and determine respective timing events (e.g., slot boundaries, subframe boundaries, etc.) corresponding to each of the plurality of CCs. The UE may then determine a reference time for a first CC of the plurality of CCs. This reference time corresponds to a function of two or more timing events corresponding to different TRPs utilizing the first CC. The UE then determines a relative timing difference between the plurality of CCs based on this determined reference time. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described, including determining and utilizing a reference time on an uplink CC.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on a first carrier having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), a scheduling indication via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a downlink transmission on a second carrier having a second SCS. The UE may process the downlink transmission on the second carrier based at least in part on a delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission and a timing threshold having a basic term and an adjustment term. For example, the basic term may be based at least in part on a minimum delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission, and the adjustment term may be based at least in part on a processing time due to a difference between the first SCS and the second SCS. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus that may be used to perform joint spatial processing for space frequency block coding and/or non-space frequency block coding channels in a wireless communications system. In aspects, apparatus and methods are provided for wireless communications, comprising receiving a signal from a serving cell and zero or more interfering cells, and processing the received signal, wherein the processing includes joint processing of at least two Resource Elements (REs), selected to conform to a Space Frequency Block Coding (SFBC) scheme in which transmitted data is modulated across two REs, to detect an interfering cell signal and canceling of the detected interfering cell signal from the received signal.
