Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a transmission comprising an indication of at least one failed code block group in a plurality of code block groups, wherein a code block group comprises a plurality of code blocks, re-assign code blocks to different code block groups (CBGs) according to a total number of code blocks (CBs) across the at least one failed code block group (CBG) and a maximum number of code block groups (CBGs) per a transport block (TB), and configure a retransmission based on the re-assigned code blocks (CBs).

Abstract: The apparatus may be a UE. The UE may be configured to receive, from a second UE, an indication of a first DC location corresponding to a first subcarrier of multiple subcarriers. The UE may further be configured to decode at least one transmission from the second UE based on the received indication of the first DC location corresponding to the first subcarrier. The UE may also be configured to receive a request for a second DC location and to transmit, to the second UE, an indication of a second DC location corresponding to a second subcarrier of the multiple subcarriers. The UE may, in some aspects, further be configured to receive, from a base station, signaling relating to a transmission of a DC location between sidelink UEs.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may extract, from a neighboring base station with cell coverage that overlaps cell coverage of the base station, information associated with user equipment (UE) transmission of MsgA messages. The base station may select, based at least in part on the information, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource to allocate to a UE for transmission of a MsgA message. The base station may transmit, to the UE, an allocation of the PUSCH resource. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: In one aspect of the disclosure, a method for wireless communication performed by base station includes receiving a first system information block of type 1 (SIB1) transmitted by a second base station. Abstract: An open radio access network (O-RAN) may include a control unit that communicates with a core network, a distributed unit that communicates with the control unit, a radio unit that communicates with the distributed unit and a user equipment (UE). Currently, the O-RAN may lack support for static configuration for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communication of message-A in a third generation partnership project (3GPP) two-step random access procedure. Hence, according to some aspects of the disclosure, the distributed unit may receive, from a radio unit, a static configuration support indication for receiving payload data via a message in a two-step random access procedure, the message including a preamble and the payload data. The distributed unit may further transmit, in response to receiving the static configuration support indication, static configuration information to the radio unit, the static configuration information for receiving the payload data communicated via the message.
