Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating per bandwidth part TCI state or spatial relation are disclosed herein. For example, aspects disclosed herein provide techniques for enabling a UE (e.g., a reduced capability UE) to associate at least one of a TCI state or a spatial relation with respective hopping regions. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes determining, while communicating using a first frequency range comprising a first set of frequency hops, at least one of a TCI state or a spatial relation for communicating using a second frequency range comprising a second set of frequency hops. The example method also includes communicating, after switching communication from the first frequency range to the second frequency range, using the second frequency range based on the determined at least one of the TCI state or the spatial relation.

The method generally includes determining a limit associated with a quantity of a plurality of downlink control information (DCI) for each of at least one scheduling chain, each of at least one of the plurality of DCI to be transmitted on one of a plurality of data channels, and wherein each of the plurality of DCI in the scheduling chain schedules another one of the plurality of data channels; and transmitting the plurality of DCI on the plurality of data channels in accordance with the determination to a user-equipment (UE).

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating semi-static TCI configurations are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after receiving the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes receiving, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages using the indicated TCI state until a second downlink message including a TCI state change indication is received. An example method for wireless communication at a base station includes transmitting, to a UE, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after transmitting the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes transmitting, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages based on the indicated TCI state.

Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a request for action for at least one control resource set (CORESET) and associated search space. The action may include configuring, activating, and/or deactivating the at least one CORESET and associated search space. The CORESET may be a dynamic CORESET with a predefined number of search space occasions or a semi-static CORESET. The method also includes communicating in accordance with the request. The request is transmitted using at least one of an uplink radio resource control (RRC) message, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a sounding reference signal (SRS), a random access channel (RACH), or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The UE may switch, in connection with the request, to a bandwidth part (BWP) configured for the UE.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for efficient transmission of data by half-duplex transceivers in satellite communication systems are provided. Time reference for the return link is skewed or time-lagged relative to the time reference for the forward link to reduce the amount of guard time required to separate return link transmission from forward link reception by the half-duplex transceiver of a user terminal. The guard time is determined based on a maximum differential round-trip propagation delay and transition times of the half-duplexer transceiver to switch between transmit and receive modes. In a satellite communication system in which a large number of active user terminals are present in a beam coverage, random time offsets are applied to spread approximately equal traffic loads across the time offsets.
