Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for enabling downlink throttling, such as for thermal mitigation. For example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit channel state feedback (CSF) with a report of a first rank that is less than a second rank associated with a channel condition and may communicate with a base station using a configuration associated with the first rank and without a set of sounding reference signals (SRSs). Alternatively, the UE may transmit one or more SRSs using a configuration associated with the first rank. In this way, by refraining from transmission of the SRSs or by adjusting the configuration the SRSs, the UE causes the base station to support downlink throttling.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify numbers of symbols of a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources that collide with a sounding reference signal resource, wherein the plurality of PUCCH resources are associated with transmitting a scheduling request (SR). The UE may determine a plurality of collision values associated with the plurality of PUCCH resources. The UE may transmit the SR on a PUCCH resource, of the plurality of PUCCH resources, that is associated with a collision value of the plurality of collision values.

Abstract: A UE employing carrier aggregation receives an uplink grant from a wireless communication system base station for each of a plurality of Physical Uplink Shared CHannel (PUSCH) component carriers. The UE orders each PUSCH component carrier for transmission based at least in part on the uplink grant. The UE ranks logical channels for uplink transmission; and then builds transport blocks comprising data of higher ranked logical channels on higher ordered component carriers. The UE can then transmit the transport blocks across the component carriers to the base station.
