    Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE receives from a network entity a configuration for layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) mobility cell for a set of cells that are able to be activated or deactivated for data or control transmission using L1 or L2 signaling. The configuration includes at least one cell that supports L1 or L2 activation as a special cell (SpCell). The UE further receives from the network entity L1 or L2 signaling for one or more configured cells or one or more configured groups of cells in the set of cells carrying information about activation, deactivation, or update of the SpCell, or update of a group of cells with SpCell, and communicates via one or more activated cells in the set of cells based on the L1 or L2 signaling.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for air interface and sidelink discontinuous reception alignment for inactive/idle user equipment. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a second user equipment at a first user equipment over a sidelink interface, discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration assistance information and transmitting, from the first user equipment to a network via an air interface, the DRX configuration assistance information. The method may further include receiving, from the network at the first user equipment via the air interface: modified air interface DRX configuration information for the first user equipment, and sidelink DRX configuration information for the first user equipment and the second user equipment, wherein the sidelink DRX configuration information is based on the DRX configuration assistance information; and transmitting, from the first user equipment to the second user equipment over the sidelink interface, the sidelink DRX configuration information.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), comprising: receiving, from a network node, a message indicating an update to a current truncated medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) (MAC-CE) assembly procedure at the UE.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a set of cells that support at least one of layer 1 (L1) signaling mobility or layer 2 (L2) signaling mobility, wherein each cell, of the set of cells, is associated with a special cell (SpCell) configuration. The UE may receive, via one of L1 signaling or L2 signaling, an indication of a cell, of the set of cells, to serve as an SpCell. The UE may activate the cell as the SpCell based at least in part on the one of the L1 signaling or the L2 signaling and a corresponding SpCell configuration associated with the cell.
