    摘要: The present disclosure describes methods, systems, and devices for releasing resources for a recovery integrated access backhaul-node (IAB-node) and/or avoiding, from performing radio resource control (RRC) reestablishment procedure, at least one descendant device of a recovery integrated access backhaul-node (IAB-node) from an initial IAB-donor-central unit (CU) to a new IAB-donor-CU. One method includes sending, by the new IAB-donor-CU to the initial IAB-donor-CU, a user equipment (UE) context release information to indicate the resources to be released; and upon receiving the UE context release information, releasing, by the initial IAB-donor-CU, the resources indicated by the UE context release information. Another method includes sending, by the new IAB-donor-CU to the initial IAB-donor-CU, a message. Another method includes sending, by the initial IAB-donor-CU to the at least one descendant device via the new IAB-donor-CU or new IAB-donor-DU, a radio resource control (RRC) message.

    摘要: Embodiments are directed to a NRDU handover simulator (100) for performing new radio (NR) standalone (SA) handover simulation. The NRDU handover simulator (100) includes UE group simulator (184) configured to generate multiple simulated UE groups and a DU simulator (186) configured to generate multiple simulated DUs and a test controller (182) connected to simulated UE groups and a traffic generator (188). The test controller (182) is configured to receive an input for performing handover for testing a DUT (190) and determine a simulated UE group associated with a simulated DU for performing the handover based on the input. The test controller (182) is configured to cause the traffic generator (188) to generate a traffic profile based on the input for performing the handover of the simulated UE group and perform simulated handover of the UE group associated with the simulated DU periodically, for testing the DUT (190).

    摘要: There is provided mechanisms for handling layer 3 measurements of a UE. A method is performed by an access network system. The access network system includes a CU and a DU. The method includes configuring the UE to perform layer 3 measurements. The UE is configured to perform layer 3 measurements according to measurement IDs. A first subset of the measurement IDs is associated with the CU and a second subset of the measurement IDs is associated with the DU. The method includes obtaining a report with a layer 3 measurement from the UE. The report has one of the measurement IDs. The method includes performing, at the CU, an action that depends on the layer 3 measurement in the report only when the measurement ID of the report is one of the measurement IDs in the first subset.
