Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatuses and methods for providing time gaps that can be used for training, verifying, compiling, and/or switching artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) models for use in wireless communication. In the time gaps, a wireless apparatus can deprioritize certain normally or routinely performed processes and functions to spare processing power and/or resources for performing AI/ML model related functions. In one example, an apparatus can provide one or more time gaps associated an AI/ML model used for communication with a network entity. The apparatus can deprioritize, in the one or more time gaps, at least one of uplink (UL) communication or downlink (DL) communication with the network entity. The apparatus can perform, in the one or more time gaps, one or more AI/ML model related processes.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain an indication that a difference between a previous timing advance value that is based at least in part on a current satellite location and a previous combination of a UE location and a timing advance parameter, and a current timing advance value that is based at least in part on the current satellite location and a current combination of the UE location and the timing advance parameter, is greater than a threshold. The UE may generate an adjusted timing advance value that is different from the current timing advance value by an amount that is less than the threshold. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The UE may perform one or more first cell measurements using a main radio of the UE and one or more second cell measurements using a low-power wakeup radio (LP-WUR) of the UE, wherein a quantity of the one or more first cell measurements and the one or more second cell measurements are in accordance with a parameter. The UE may evaluate a cell selection criterion according to at least one of the one or more first cell measurements or the one or more second cell measurements. The UE may transmit a communication in accordance with the one or more first cell measurements, the one or more second cell measurements, or the cell selection criterion. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a measurement configuration that includes information associated with one or more target frequencies in a first frequency range, such as Frequency Range 2 (FR2). The UE may perform measurements of the one or more target frequencies in the first frequency range in accordance with the measurement configuration while the UE is in an idle or inactive state. The UE may transition from the idle or inactive state to a connected state based on performing a random access procedure with a network entity. Accordingly, the UE may transmit an indication of a measurement report associated with the measurements of the one or more target frequencies in the first frequency range based on transitioning from the idle or inactive state to the connected state.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that associates a first synchronization signal block (SSB) to a first SSB group and a second SSB to a second SSB group, the first SSB group and the second SSB group associated with a single physical cell identifier (PCI). The UE may receive one or more scheduling indications that schedule reception of the first SSB, on a first set of one or more time domain resources, and schedule reception of a downlink transmission, on a second set of one or more time domain resources that at least partially overlap with the first set of one or more time domain resources, via a beam associated with the second SSB of the second SSB group. Numerous other aspects are described.
