    Abstract: An imaging system is an imaging system using a compressed sensing technology, and includes a filter array including types of filters different from one another in transmission spectrum, an image sensor that generates image data based on light that passes through the filter array, a processing circuit that generates hyperspectral image data including images corresponding to four or more bands included in a target wavelength region on the basis of the image data and a reconstruction table decided on the basis of a spatial distribution of the transmission spectra of the types of filters, and a light source that emits reference light used for calibration for correcting the reconstruction table and having a wavelength of at least one of the four or more bands, and the processing circuit corrects the reconstruction table on the basis of reference image data which the image sensor generates by detecting the reference light.

    Abstract: A filter array includes filters disposed in a two-dimensional plane and having different transmission spectra. The filters include a first filter with a transmission spectrum having a first peak group including first and second peaks adjacent to each other, and at least one second filter with a transmission spectrum having a second peak group including third and fourth peaks adjacent to each other. Of peaks included in the second peak group, the third peak has a wavelength closest to a wavelength at the first peak. A first interval between the wavelength at the first peak and a wavelength at the second peak is different from a second interval between the wavelength at the third peak and a wavelength at the fourth peak. ΔFSR/σ≥0.25, where ΔFSR denotes an absolute value of a difference between the first and second intervals and σ denotes a half-width of the first peak.

    Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an image sensor, a filter array disposed on an optical path from a target object to the image sensor and including two-dimensionally-arranged optical filters, and a processing circuit that generates at least four pieces of spectral image data based on an image acquired by the image sensor. The optical filters include various types of optical filters with different spectral transmittance. Each of the at least four pieces of spectral image data indicates an image corresponding to one of at least four wavelength bands. The filter array includes at least one characteristic section. The processing circuit detects a relative position between the filter array and the image sensor based on the at least one characteristic section in the image acquired by the image sensor, and compensates for deviation between the relative position and a preliminarily-set relative position when the processing circuit detects the deviation.

The filters include multiple types of first filters having mutually different transmission spectra, of which each transmission spectrum includes first peaks, and multiple types of second filters having mutually different transmission spectra, of which each transmission spectrum includes one or more second peaks.     Abstract: An optical filter includes a filter array including filters two-dimensionally arrayed and a band-pass filter. The filters includes first and second filters. A transmission spectrum of each of the first and second filters has local maximum values of transmittance at three or more wavelengths included in a first wavelength region. The band-pass filter passes light in a second wavelength region including two or more wavelengths of the three or more wavelengths and not including one or more wavelengths of the three or more wavelengths. The filter array and the band-pass filter are disposed so that (a) the band-pass filter is located on an optical path of light that passes through the first and second filters or (b) the first and second filters are located on an optical path of light that passes through the band-pass filter.

    Abstract: A signal processing method is performed by a computer. The signal processing method includes: obtaining first compressed image data including hyperspectral information and indicating a two-dimensional image in which the hyperspectral information is compressed, the hyperspectral information being luminance information on each of at least four wavelength bands included in a target wavelength range; extracting partial image data from the first compressed image data; and generating first two-dimensional image data corresponding to a first wavelength band and second two-dimensional image data corresponding to a second wavelength band from the partial image data.
