    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for a method of mobility between distributed units with a local control plane are provided. For example, a method can include detecting, at a target distributed unit, a handover based on an indication from a source distributed unit after a handover command has been sent to a user equipment to hand over from the source distributed unit to the target distributed unit. The method can also include sending, from the target distributed unit to a central unit user plane, a data transmission resume notification, to trigger to the central unit user plane to resume downlink data transmission toward the target distributed unit. The downlink data transmission was previously suspended by instructions from a source distributed unit to the central unit user plane when the handover was initiated from the source distributed unit to the target distributed unit.

    Abstract: Approaches for implementing data collection for a task involving an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) model present with a User Equipment (UE) are described. In one example, a data collection request may be received from the UE. The received data collection request may include an identifier of the task involving the AI/ML model, provided in the UE, for which data is to be collected. Thereafter, a measurement configuration may be determined corresponding to the identifier of the task. Subsequently, a response message may be transmitted to the UE. The response message may include a measurement identifier corresponding to the measurement configuration.

    Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for a core network entity, the apparatus comprising means configured to perform: receiving, from a network node, an indication of one or more first analytics identities that are supported by the network node; receiving, from a terminal, a registration request message; accessing subscription information of the terminal, the subscription information comprising one or more second analytics identities that are subscribed to by the terminal, wherein the one or more first analytics identities and the one or more second analytics identities are each associated with respective machine learning models. The apparatus further comprising means configured to perform, determining a list of authorised analytics identities, that are authorised for use by the network node for the terminal, using: i) the received indication of the one or more first analytics identities that are supported by the network node, and ii) the subscription information of the terminal; and providing, to the network node, the list of authorised analytics identities that are authorised for use by the network node for the terminal.
