    Abstract: A method, apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided for a coordinated receive (or transmit) pattern during a DAPS handover. In an example implementation, the method may include a UE sending a measurement report to a first network node, the measurement report including at least a request for a time division multiplexing pattern.     Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for conditional handover (CHO) execution with network slice service continuity prioritization are provided. A radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message sent by a source radio access network (RAN) node to the user equipment (UE) may include, for each CHO configuration, an associated network slice-related priority index. The UE may take this index into account when selecting a suitable cell during CHO recovery. Additionally, or alternatively, the RRC reconfiguration message sent by a source RAN node may include, for each CHO configuration, an associated network slice support information of the candidate target cell. The message may also include network slice remapping information for any network slice associated with one of the candidate target cells. Using the above network slice-related information received from the network, the UE can prioritize the cell to select during CHO recovery in case more than one suitable cell is available.

    Abstract: According to an example embodiment, a method may include receiving, by a user equipment from a serving base station associated with a source cell, a reconfiguration message that includes a target cell configuration for a target cell, a configuration of a conditional handover execution condition, and information that indicates that the user equipment should immediately decode and apply the target cell configuration upon receiving the reconfiguration message; and immediately decoding and applying, by the user equipment, the target cell configuration upon receiving the reconfiguration message, without waiting for the conditional handover execution condition to be fulfilled.

    Abstract: There is provided a user equipment apparatus (UE) that includes processor(s) and memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor(s), cause the UE at least to, establish a connection with a control network node via a serving cell, where the control network node supports at least one of control unit-control plane functionality or a layer 3 protocol of a radio access network; receive, from the control network node, an RRC message that includes: configuration information for preparing the UE for candidate target cell(s) with which the UE may connect, and further configuration information for preparing the UE to acquire timing advance (TA) for other cell(s) with which the UE may connect and/or perform cell detection/measurement, where the further configuration information is received prior to the UE connecting with any of the other cell(s); and implement a configuration based on the configuration information and the further configuration information.
