An air conditioner is provided. The air conditioner may include a case, a first discharging port provided at a first side of the case and a second discharging port provided at a second side of the case, each selectively discharging air therefrom based on an operation mode of the air conditioner. A movable panel connected to the case may be movable between the first discharging port and the second discharging port. A transfer direction of the movable panel may also be determined based on the operation mode of the air conditioner.

A display device of an air conditioner and an air conditioner having the same are provided. The display device may include a display including a film configured to allow display of an image corresponding to operation information of the air conditioner and that enables a touch input; a controller that controls display of the image; and a light emitting device that emits light toward the film. The controller may display the image on the display, receive a command concerning the operation information via the touch input, and change the image according to the touch input.

A hanger device according to the present disclosure may comprise a body having at least opening to allow air to be suctioned into the body and at least one discharge port to allow suctioned air to be forced out of the body. A fan module is provided inside the body and is configured to suction air through the opening and force the suction air to the at least one discharge port. A filtering module removes foreign substances contained in the suctioned air. A steam supply device is provided inside the body to generate steam and supply the generated steam to the discharge port. The device may include an input device receiving input information regarding operation of the air conditioner, a controller comparing the input information with previously mapped information and controlling the operation of the air conditioner, and an output device outputting primary information regarding the operation of the air conditioner based on a control command received from the controller. Secondary information may be visually or audibly changed and output by the output device corresponding to a change in the primary information. A method of controlling such a device may include changing input information regarding operation of the air conditioner, changing and outputting primary information in response to the change in the input information, and visually or audibly changing and outputting the secondary information based on the change in the primary information.
