Abstract: A method for transmitting an uplink signal is discussed. Further, the time resource unit includes one or more slots including a plurality of symbols, based on the uplink subcarrier spacing, a predetermined time period in the one or more slots is not used for the transmission of the uplink signal, and the uplink carrier spacing includes 3.75 kHz.

Abstract: A method for performing uplink transmission by a Machine Type Communication (MTC) User Equipment (UE) in a wireless access system supporting an MTC is discussed. The method performed by the MTC UE includes repeatedly transmitting a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) N1 times during N1 subframes, where N1 is an integer larger than 1, and repeatedly transmitting a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) N2 times during N2 subframes, where N2 is an integer larger than 1, wherein if at least one of the N2 subframes is overlapped with at least one of the N1 subframes, the MTC UE transmits only the at least one of the N1 PUCCHs at the at least one overlapped subframe.
