    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a container guide and a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism includes a pin and a pin supporting member. The latch mechanism permits an attachment of the ink container to the container guide when the ink container is pushed in an attachment direction and the pin is stored in a first storage part and permits a detachment of the ink container from the container guide when the ink container attached to the container guide is pushed in the attachment direction and the pin is removed from the first storage part. The pin supporting member includes a boss. The boss is stored in a second storage part when the pin is stored in the first storage part, and the boss is removed from the second storage part when the pin is removed from the first storage part.

    Abstract: In an inkjet recording apparatus, a recording head has an ink ejection port through which ink is ejected, a cleaning liquid supplying portion has a cleaning liquid supply port through which cleaning liquid for cleaning an ink ejection surface having the ink ejection port, is supplied, and a cleaning member cleans the ink ejection surface by the cleaning liquid by moving while in contact with the ink ejection surface. The cleaning liquid supplying portion includes a main body portion and a protruding portion. The main body portion is disposed on an upstream side of the recording head in a moving direction of the cleaning member. The protruding portion protrudes from the main body portion toward a downstream in the moving direction, and covers, from below, lower ends of side surfaces of the recording head and the main body portion that face each other in the moving direction.

    Abstract: A liquid container includes a pack main body and a covering body. The covering body covers a part of the pack main body and is more hardly deformable than the pack main body. The pack main body includes a trunk part, a pair of sealing parts and a spout. The trunk part is formed into a rectangular cylindrical shape in a state where the ink is stored. The pair of sealing parts seal both ends of the trunk part.     Abstract: In an inkjet recording apparatus, ink reserved in a reserve portion flows into a valve chamber through an inflow port. A first outflow port and a second outflow port are capable of flowing the ink from the valve chamber. The first valve element is preliminarily located at an opening position separated from the first outflow port in an inward direction directed from the first outflow port toward inside of the valve chamber. The first valve element is displaced from the opening position to the first outflow port and closes the first outflow port when the valve chamber is filled with the ink. The second valve element is preliminarily located at a closing position closing the second outflow port, and opens the second outflow port when the valve chamber is filled with the ink. Subsequently, a recording head becomes ready to record an image on a recording object with the ink.

    Abstract: A supply liquid tank unit of the present disclosure includes a supply liquid tank and a detection sensor. The detection sensor detects a liquid surface of ink in the supply liquid tank. The supply liquid tank is provided with an inner space having a storage chamber which stores the ink and an atmosphere release port for making an inner pressure in the inner space equal to an atmospheric pressure. The detection sensor has a float which moves vertically in accordance with an amount of the ink in the storage chamber and a sensor main body which detects a liquid surface of the ink when the float moves vertically.     Abstract: A toner case includes a case main body, a shutter mount and a shutter. The case main body contains a toner to be replenished to a development device provided in an apparatus main body and is detachably attached to the apparatus main body. The case main body has an opened face on which a discharge port is arranged and the discharge port corresponds to a replenishment port of the development device in a state where the case main body is attached to the apparatus main body. The shutter mount is provided to form a gap between the opened face of the case main body and the shutter mount. The shutter is provided between the opened face of the case main body and the shutter mount to be slidable to open and close the discharge port. The shutter mount includes a film which comes into sliding contact with the shutter.
