Abstract:
A drinking vessel, and a lid for a drinking vessel are provided, The lid has a rim from which a user can drink with a valve formed at the rim. A fluid coupling extends from the valve to the base of the drinking vessel. Drinking is by sucking from the rim of the lid. The fluid coupling ensures that the cup does not have to be tipped (to bring the liquid in contact with the rim) as is the case for a conventional cup with a so-called 360 degree drinking valve.
Abstract:
A breast shield arrangement (300) for a breast pump is provided. The breast shield arrangement comprises a breast receiving portion (300a) with a flexible collapsible funnel (301) and a rigid frame (340) which are made as a single unit by 2K manufacturing. The flexible funnel (330) has a circumferentially extending wall (301a). The breast receiving portion (300a) has a first and second end (310, 320). The flexible funnel (330) and the rigid frame (340) are connected at the first and second end (310, 320) of the breast receiving portion (300a) during a 2K manufacturing. The flexible funnel (330) is configured to collapse if a vacuum is applied to the breast receiving portion (300a).
Abstract:
A patient interface face contact element includes a surface for contacting the face of a patient and a connection face for coupling the patient interface face contact element to a support using a magnetic coupling. The support is also provided as well as the complete patient interface. Headgear strap clips can also be retained magnetically.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a consumable recognition system for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable containing a food substance for the preparation of a beverage by use of a beverage dispenser. To enable the recognition of placement and/or type of consumable in a simple, foolproof and easily implementable way an embodiment of the system comprises a light source (31, 301, 311, 321, 331, 341) for emitting light (35) to the consumable (4a, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90), a light sensor (32 302, 312, 322, 332, 342) for sensing light (36) reflected from a reflection element (42, 52, 63, 73, 83, 93) of the consumable to obtain a sensor signal, wherein the sensor signal depends on the position, orientation, fluorescence, phosphorescence and/or polarization characteristic of said reflection element, and a signal processor (33) for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable based on said sensor signal.

Abstract:
A building management system comprises a measurement system for measuring a demand for resources inside the building and a collecting system for harvesting natural resources available outside the building. The building management system is further provided with a storage system for storing surplus resources and a sensor system for measuring resource availability outside the building and/or resources stored in the storage system. Further, a controller arranged to receive data from the measurement system, the sensor system and the storage system is provided. The controller controls the collecting system based on said data to tune the collection of resources by the collection system to a present and/or an expected demand for resources.
Abstract:
A cover device (2) for a drink container comprises a basic assembly (9) which is provided with a drink opening (32), and a valve arrangement (20) for blocking or unblocking a passage to the drink opening (32) from a drink container side of the cover device (2). The valve arrangement (20) comprises a valve element (26) having two portions (27, 28) which are connected to each other through an area of the valve element (26) at a position where the valve element (26) is hingably associated with the basic assembly (9), and wherein only one of the two portions (27, 28) is in direct communication with the drink opening (32) of the basic assembly (9), so that a smallest total moment of force may be realized on the one portion (28) when the valve element (26) is subjected to pressure from the drink container side of the cover device (2).
