摘要： The system and method of the present invention includes an electrical to mechanical converter (EMC), such as a motor, and a hydraulic pump-and-cylinder arrangement that is connected to the electrical to mechanical converter for input, and to a sucker rod pump for output, in at least one embodiment. The entire assembly can be deployed below the level of the well fluid in a well. The EMC-driven hydraulic pump and cylinder can provide reciprocating linear motion to operate the sucker rod pump. In contrast, this linear motion is normally provided by sucker rods connected to a plunger inside a pump barrel and a pumping unit on the surface. The invention provides the required linear motion for the sucker rod pump to operate, but without the need for sucker and a surface pumping unit.

摘要： A method is disclosed to adjust one or more input/output parameters for a computing system comprising at least one computing device, one or more data storage devices, and one or more variable I/O parameters. The method establishes a change value and a stabilization period for each of the one or more I/O parameters. The method determines a current I/O rate, selects the (i)th I/O parameter, where that (i)th I/O parameter comprises the (i)th current value. The method then sets the (i)th I/O parameter to equal the (i)th current value modified by the (i)th change value, calculates an adjusted I/O rate, and determines if the adjusted I/O rate is less than the current I/O rate. If the adjusted I/O rate is not less than the current I/O rate, the method saves the adjusted (i)th I/O parameter as the (i)th current value. The method iteratively adjusts the (i)th I/O parameter until that adjusted I/O rate is less than the previous I/O rate, then saves the (i)th I/O parameter value minus the change value as the new current value.

The lead is defined by a distal section, an intermediate section and a proximal section, and includes a lead body, a plurality of insulated wires, and a plurality of connector elements. The lead body includes a plurality of electrodes and an anchoring device. The insulated wires are electrically coupled to the electrodes, respectively. A wire intermediate segment extends proximal the lead body and is characterized as having a non-coiled configuration, terminating at a respective connector element for coupling to an external power source. The wire intermediate segments are extendible through a patient's skin and are sealable relative to the skin. The lead is adapted for providing temporary electrical stimulation to a sacral nerve in a bipolar mode, with the anchoring device inhibiting electrode migration.
