Abstract: A method and system for dynamically switching between at least two cameras. A first and second video input received from a first and second camera of the at least two cameras to identify first and second directional parameters of a face of a user, respectively. A first algorithm is executed on the first and second directional parameters to identify a first and second percentage associated with facial coverage of the user, respectively. It is determined that the first percentage exceeds the second percentage and in response, the first video input is utilized to capture the face of the user and the second video input is disabled. Either the first and second cameras are attached to the device or one camera of the first and second cameras is attached to the device and another camera of the first and second cameras is attached to a monitor associated with the device.

Abstract: Techniques are described with respect to addressing at least one sensor abnormality associated with a vehicle. An associated method includes receiving a first measurement value from a first sensor among a plurality of sensors associated with a vehicle and receiving a second measurement value from a second sensor among the plurality of sensors. The method further includes identifying at least one sensor abnormality based upon an inconsistency between the first measurement value and the second measurement value. In an embodiment, the at least one sensor abnormality results from at least one sensor defect, at least one vehicle security fault, or a combination thereof. The method further includes completing at least one predefined action to address the at least one sensor abnormality.

Abstract: One or more programs in a computing environment of a first service provider obtain an indication from a portion of an infrastructure of a second service provider, where the portion of the infrastructure has available computing capacity, and where the portion of an infrastructure includes at least one component. The one or more programs determine if the first service provider can deploy the portion as a portion of services deployed from the first service provider and based on making the determination that the first service provider can deploy the portion of the infrastructure, the one or more programs register the portion of the infrastructure to make it available for deployment by the first service provider. The one or more programs provision the at least one component for deployment by the first service provider in a service that includes the at least one component.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for guided vehicle evaluation includes executing on a computer processor the step of receiving a vehicle identification number (VIN) for a vehicle and analyzing maintenance items and repair items for the vehicle from anonymized vehicle data identified by the VIN which identifies deviations from normal maintenance items and repair items identified by a decoded VIN. The anonymized vehicle data includes repair items and maintenance items performed on the vehicle and a vehicle mileage for each repair item and for each maintenance item. Expected service needs for the vehicle are computed based on the identified deviations from normal of maintenance items and repair items, and the expected service needs for the vehicle are displayed.

Abstract: A method, system and computer readable program storage device for facilitating a collaboration experience. In embodiments, the method comprises identifying a group of people for a specified collaboration experience; identifying specified conditions and preferences for the group of people; using the identified specified conditions and preferences for the group of people for determining an environment for the specified collaboration experience and one or more factors for improving the specified collaboration experience; and sending a specified set of information to one or more prospective collaboration entities to determine if any one of the prospective collaboration entities has the determined environment for the specified collaboration experience. The sending a specified set of information to one or more prospective collaboration entities includes providing the prospective collaboration entities with information to modify the determined environment for the specified collaboration experience to improve the specified collaboration experience.

Abstract: A computer implemented navigation method that provides a safest route by considering manual driver risk. The method may include providing at least two sets of directions from a user start location to a final user location based on a user navigation system and user permission for data access; and ranking said at least two sets of directions by a baseline safety value. The method may also include determining in real time travelers that are present on passageways for the at least two sets of directions; and ranking the travelers according to travel risk behavior. Finally, the method may assign an aggregate risk score to each passageway for the at least two sets of directions for each passageway specific grouping of the travels having the ranked travel risk behavior to provide a safety ranked set of the at least two sets directions to the final user location.

Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The method computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: obtaining sensor data from sensors disposed to output data indicative of vehicle driver performance of a first vehicle, the first vehicle having for a first trip an associated first driver user who drives the first vehicle during the first trip; processing the sensor data to return error event flags that indicate errors of the first driver user when driving the first vehicle during the first trip; recording for respective event flags of the error event flags values of a first driving environment classification parameter and values of a second driving environment classification parameter; and predicting a driving performance of the first driver user for a second trip, the second trip being a proposed trip to occur after the first trip.
