Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example communication method includes receiving signaling on a first carrier by a terminal device. The terminal device determines slot formats of N slots on at least one second carrier, where the slot formats of the N slots are determined based on M slot formats. N and M are positive integers. The M slot formats are obtained based on the received signaling, and the N slots are determined based on at least one of the following: a moment at which the signaling is received, and a relationship between a length of a first slot on the first carrier and a length of a second slot on the at least one second carrier. According to the communication method, the terminal device, and a network device in this application, slot formats of slots on a plurality of carriers can be determined.

Abstract: A transmit end obtains a frequency hopping parameter and resource allocation information of a to-be-transmitted message, where the frequency hopping parameter includes at least one of bandwidth part indication information, beam indication information, reference signal configuration information, subcarrier spacing indication information, transmission waveform indication information, slot type indication information, channel type indication information, or transmission carrier indication information. The transmit end determines, based on the resource allocation information and the frequency hopping parameter, a physical resource used to send the to-be-transmitted message, where the physical resource includes information about a frequency domain resource on which the to-be-transmitted message is mapped in at least one time unit. The transmit end sends the to-be-transmitted message by using the physical resource.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for D2D communication. The method includes carrying control information and data information, to be sent, in a physical resource block, wherein the physical resource block comprises M OFDM symbols in the time domain and N subcarriers in the frequency domain. The control information comprises at least one of MCS, RV, and NDI, at least one of the MCS, the RV, and the NDI being mapped onto an RE in a high frequency part of the physical resource block. The method also includes sending the physical resource block to a target user equipment on a D2D communication link.
