Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, and an apparatus for supporting a non-vector line. The method includes: selecting n non-vector lines TL from lines that are in an initializing stage, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 1; controlling to perform no further initializing for other lines that are in the initializing stage except the TL until the TL fully enters a data transmission stage; and before the TL enters the data transmission stage, estimating a far-end crosstalk coefficient CTL-SV from the TL to a vector line SV that is in the data transmission stage, where the CTL-SV is used in signal processing to eliminate far-end crosstalk caused by the TL to the SV.

The method includes: when a new line is added, releasing at least one resource unit that is on a line at a Showtime stage, so that on the line at the Showtime stage data is transmitted on a remaining resource unit that is obtained after the at least one resource unit is released; performing basic initialization on the new line by using the at least one resource unit or a subset of the at least one resource unit, so that after the basic initialization, data can be transmitted on the new line by using the at least one resource unit or the subset of the at least one resource unit; and performing crosstalk cancellation initialization on the line at the Showtime stage and the new line by using all resource units.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for training a Vector coefficient of a vectored digital subscriber line, where the method includes: after a handshake phase is executed for a joining line, calculating, by using a pilot estimation method, an initial precoding coefficient and an initial cancellation coefficient that represent interference from the joining line to a normal working line; and after a channel discovery phase is executed for the joining line, compensating the initial precoding coefficient and the initial cancellation coefficient by using a compensation factor, to obtain a precoding coefficient and a cancellation coefficient that represent the interference from the joining line to the normal working line, wherein the compensation factor is obtained according to a signal power change or a signal phase change of the joining line. The present invention improves efficiency of Vector coefficient training.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications and disclose a method and an apparatus for grouping line pairs, and a system, to solve a problem that obtaining a crosstalk cancellation coefficient matrix through channel training imposes a very high requirement on a system capability such as a computing capability and a storage capability and even affects user experience due to the relatively large number of line pairs in a large scale Vectored-DSL system. A technical solution provided in the present invention includes: acquiring crosstalk impact data between line pairs in a vectored-digital subscriber line Vectored-DSL system; and grouping line pairs, between which a crosstalk impact cannot be ignored, into one vector group according to a set threshold and the crosstalk impact data between the line pairs. The method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention are applicable to a large scale Vectored-DSL.
Abstract:
A method includes analyzing a dataflow graph representing data dependencies between operators of a dataflow application to identify a plurality of candidate groups of the operators. Based on characteristics of a given hardware accelerator and the operators of a given candidate group of the plurality of candidate groups, determining whether the operators of the given candidate group are to be combined. In response to determining that the operators of the given candidate group are to be combined, retrieving executable binary code segments corresponding to the operators of the given candidate group, generating a unit of binary code including the executable binary code segments and metadata representing an execution control flow among the executable binary code segments, and dispatching the unit of code to the given hardware accelerator for execution of the unit of code.
