    Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to the terminal field and disclose a data transmission method and a terminal, to increase a speed of data transmission between terminals and ensure stability during the data transmission. The method includes: A terminal establishes a wireless connection to another terminal; in addition, the terminal establishes a USB connection to the another terminal; then, the terminal can display a first interface, where the first interface includes at least one piece of candidate data; a user may select to-be-transmitted data from the at least one piece of candidate data after performing a first input on the first interface; and the terminal may send the to-be-transmitted data to the another terminal through the wireless connection and the USB connection after the user performs a second input on the first interface.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication establishment method. The method includes: receiving, by a first terminal, a first broadcast message of a first wireless communications mode sent by a second terminal, where the first broadcast message carries a second wireless communications mode supported by the second terminal and a status and/or supported protocol information of the second wireless communications mode; and determining, by the first terminal based on the second wireless communications mode supported by the second terminal and the status and/or the supported protocol information of the second wireless communications mode, whether to connect to the second terminal. According to the foregoing method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, in a first wireless communication phase, a status and/or a supported protocol of a second wireless communications mode can be obtained, so that the second wireless communications mode is learned of in advance and terminals are filtered, thereby improving efficiency of selecting a wireless communications mode and establishing a communication connection.
