Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a beam management method, a terminal, a network device, and a storage medium. The method includes: when a quantity of reference signals whose RSSIs are greater than a first preset value in reference signals received on a first time-frequency resource on one of one or more beams is less than a second preset value, detecting, by the terminal, a reference signal and/or downlink indication information (used to indicate a sending status of the reference signal on the first time-frequency resource and/or a second time-frequency resource on the beam) from the network device on the second time-frequency resource on the beam. Further, when receiving the downlink indication information on the second time-frequency resource on the beam, the terminal continues to detect a reference signal from the network device on the beam, thereby saving communications system resources.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a scheduling method in a wireless local area network (WLAN), including: generating, by an access point (AP), scheduling information, where the scheduling information includes multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheduling information or beamforming (BF) scheduling information, the MIMO scheduling information is used to schedule a station (STA) to perform MIMO communication, and the BF scheduling information is used to schedule the STA to perform beamforming training; and sending, by the AP, the scheduling information to the STA. According to the scheduling method in a WLAN that is disclosed in the embodiments of this application, the AP can implement, by using the scheduling information, scheduling for the MIMO communication of the STA and BF in a MIMO scenario, and an operation is simple and convenient.

Abstract: A guard band indication method on an unlicensed spectrum is described that includes: a network device generating one or any combination of the following four types of information on the unlicensed spectrum: an indication of bandwidth configuration information, an indication of available bandwidth information, an indication of unavailable bandwidth information, or an indication of guard band information; and the network device sends the one or any combination of the foregoing four types of generated information. The one or any combination of the four types of information is used to determine a guard band that is based on a listen before talk (LBT) result.

Abstract: This application provides a communications method, which includes: performing, by a network device, LBT on a first carrier, and determining a time offset when the LBT is completed, where the first carrier is used to send a first SS Burst Set, and the time offset is a time offset of an actual transmission time of the first SS Burst Set on the first carrier relative to a configured transmission time of the first SS Burst Set; sending, by the network device, the time offset to a terminal; and receiving, by the terminal, the time offset, and performing rate matching on the first carrier based on the time offset. Thus, the terminal may determine the actual transmission time of the first SS Burst Set based on the time offset, to perform the rate matching and accurately parse downlink data, thereby improving reliability of a communications system.

The method includes: A base station sends a configuration message to a terminal, where the configuration message is used to configure, for the terminal, a random access channel RACH resource used in a channel occupancy time COT. The base station receives a random access request that is sent by the terminal based on the RACH resource allocated by using the configuration message. According to embodiments of this application, a random access latency of the terminal can be reduced.
