    Abstract: A communications terminal includes a multiple-input multiple-output antenna system. The multiple-input multiple-output antenna system includes a first antenna module, a second antenna module, and a first ground structure. The first antenna module includes a first radiator configured to form a first MIMO antenna and a second radiator configured to form a GPS antenna, and a first slit is provided between the first radiator and the second radiator. The second antenna module includes a third radiator configured to form a low frequency antenna and a fourth radiator configured to form a second MIMO antenna. The second radiator is connected to the third radiator. One end of the first ground structure is connected to the second radiator or the third radiator, and another end is connected to a ground plane of the communications terminal.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal and a mobile terminal antenna production method. The mobile terminal uses an insulation film layer on an insulation rear housing as a carrier of a radiating element of an antenna, and the radiating element is located within the entire mobile terminal, thereby effectively increasing a height of the radiating element of the antenna relative to a circuit board with the antenna not affecting an appearance of the mobile terminal. Compared with a conventional support solution, this manner can increase a height of about 0.2 mm to 0.6 mm. This reduces an impact caused by a metal component on the circuit board on antenna radiation, and further increases a bandwidth and efficiency of the antenna so that the antenna can cover a frequency band used in a handheld communications system.

    Abstract: This application provides a terminal device which includes a housing and a metal line. The metal line is disposed on an outer surface of the housing or embedded in the housing, and the metal line is configured to receive or send an electromagnetic wave signal. In the terminal device provided in this application, the metal line (an antenna) of the terminal device is disposed on the outer surface of the housing of the terminal device or embedded in the housing. This can increase a distance from the metal line to a circuit board of the terminal device, thereby reducing interference of a metal component on the circuit board to radiation of the metal line (radiation of the antenna) and improving operating bandwidth and efficiency of the antenna. This improves operating efficiency of the antenna of the terminal device, thereby improving signal receiving and signal sending quality of the terminal device.

    Abstract: An antenna selection method includes selecting M1 antenna sets from CN−L1L2 antenna combinations, where L1 is a quantity of reserved antennas, a sum of L1 and L2 is equal to L, determining an antenna set with a maximum channel capacity, in M2 antenna sets, as a target antenna set to perform a preset-duration data transmission, where the M2 antenna sets are antenna sets formed by the M1 antenna sets and the L1 reserved antennas. The L1 reserved antennas include a maximum SNR in a target antenna set used in previous preset-duration data transmission. Each of the M2 antenna sets includes the L1 reserved antennas.
