Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a service provisioning system and method, a mobile edge application server and support node. The system includes: at least one mobile edge application server (MEAS) and at least one mobile edge application server support function (MEAS-SF), where the MEAS is deployed at an access network side; and the MEAS-SF is deployed at a core network side, connected to one or more MEAS. In the service provisioning system provided in the embodiment, services that are provided by an SP are deployed in the MEAS. When the MEAS can provide the user equipment with a service requested in a service request, the MEAS directly and locally generates service data corresponding to the service request. Therefore, the user equipment directly obtains required service data from an RAN side, which avoids data congestion between an RAN and a CN and saves network resources.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a mobility management method, user equipment, and a base station. The mobility management method may include: receiving, by user equipment UE in a connected mode, a source identifier of the UE from a first base station, where the source identifier is used to uniquely identify the UE in the first base station; entering, by the UE, a low-overhead state after a low-overhead activation condition is satisfied, where in the low-overhead state, the UE stores a connection context of the UE in the connected mode, and camps on a cell according to a cell reselection criterion during movement; and reporting, by the UE when a first preset condition is satisfied, the source identifier to a second base station to which a second cell belongs, where the second cell is a serving cell on which the UE currently camps.

Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for quickly establishing a trunking service. The method includes: receiving, by a base station device, indication information that a user equipment has entered a trunking service mode, where the indication information is sent by an evolved packet core network device; responding to the indication information, and creating a radio resource control connection with the user equipment; responding to the indication information, and generating radio resource connection configuration information including a discontinuous reception cycle; sending the radio resource connection configuration information to the user equipment, so that the user equipment configures the discontinuous reception cycle as a discontinuous reception cycle of the user equipment itself; and when the user equipment is in the trunking service mode, retaining the radio resource control connection with the user equipment according to the radio resource connection configuration information.
