Abstract: Embodiments relate to the field of wireless communication technologies and provide a method for performing channel sounding, a network-side device, and a terminal. A first terminal sends a resource scheduling request to a network-side device when the first terminal starts a communication connection with a second terminal. The resource scheduling request carrying information about the second terminal requests the network-side device to allocate a transmission resource for channel sounding between the first terminal and the second terminal. The first terminal receives a sounding reference signal sent by the second terminal, and obtains information of a channel for communication between the first terminal and the second terminal. The method enables quick and effective channel sounding between terminals, thereby increasing communication efficiency between the terminals.

Before the first moment, the cooperation device is configured to send the to-be-transmitted data to the target device. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an extended range SU mode PPDU transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: generating an extended range SU mode PPDU, wherein a legacy preamble part in the extended range SU mode PPDU is transmitted by using a bandwidth of 20 MHz, a data part in the extended range SU mode PPDU is transmitted by using a narrowband, and a bandwidth in the narrowband transmission comprises at least one of the following parameters: a 26-tone RU, a 52-tone RU, a 106-tone RU, or a 242-tone RU; and sending the extended range SU mode PPDU. By applying the method and the apparatus in the embodiments of the present invention, transmission reliability of the data part is improved, performance of parts in the PPDU in an EXT SU mode is more balanced, and a coverage area of long-distance transmission is ensured.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a NAV (network allocation vector) setting method in a wireless communications system and a related device. The method includes: receiving, by a receiving node, a PPDU (physical layer protocol data unit) sent by a transmitting node; determining whether the receiving node satisfies a condition of allowing simultaneous transmission; and if the condition of allowing simultaneous transmission is satisfied, keeping a current NAV value unchanged; or if the condition of allowing simultaneous transmission is not satisfied, decoding the received PPDU to obtain a duration field, and updating the current NAV value of the receiving node according to a value of the duration field.
