    Abstract: A method for assisting in locating a target object, a method for locating a target object, and an apparatus. In an embodiment, the method for assisting in locating a target object is applied to a station (STA), and the method includes: receiving a wireless sensing sounding frame including radar measurement indication information from an access point (AP); sending an uplink data packet to the AP, recording a first sending moment, and performing radar measurement on a target object based on the radar measurement indication information to obtain a radar measurement result; receiving a downlink data packet from the AP, and recording a first receiving moment; and sending the first sending moment, the first receiving moment and the radar measurement result to the AP.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of WLAN technologies, and in particular, to a null data physical layer protocol data unit transmitting method and an apparatus, and may be used in a wireless communication system that supports the 802.11be standard or the EHT standard. In the method, a first device transmits a sensing NDPA frame, where the sensing NDPA frame indicates to transmit an NDP; and then, the first device transmits the NDP, where the NDP is a first NDP or a second NDP. A physical layer version of the first NDP is different from a physical layer version of the second NDP. Correspondingly, a second device receives the sensing NDPA frame and the NDP from the first device.

    Abstract: A method for sending a measurement packet and a communication apparatus. The method includes: a first wireless device sends a trigger frame, where the trigger frame is used to trigger a plurality of second wireless devices to send measurement packets in an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) manner; and the first wireless device receives the measurement packets sent by the plurality of second wireless devices in the OFDMA manner. Based on the method, the measurement packet sent by each second wireless device occupies only some tones of an uplink transmission bandwidth. This improves power spectral density of the measurement packet and improves precision of measuring channel information by the first wireless device.

    Abstract: A method includes, in accordance with some implementations, sending, a measurement station, a trigger frame to a signal source station, where the trigger frame carries pilot format information, and the pilot format information is used to indicate a sending time point of a signal frame triggered by the trigger frame, a quantity of times for sending the signal frame, and a transmission mode of pilot information in the signal frame. The measurement station receives an illumination frame from the signal source station, where the illumination frame is the signal frame triggered by the trigger frame. The measurement station analyzes pilot information in the illumination frame to obtain sensing information in the illumination frame, where the sensing information is used to indicate physical information of an object surrounding the signal source station and the measurement station.
