    Abstract: An imaging lens consisting of, in order from an object side to an image side: a front group; a stop; and a rear group that has a refractive power, wherein: the front group and the rear group are combined and include at least five negative lenses and at least three positive lenses, a lens closest to the object side in the front group is a first lens as a negative meniscus lens which has a convex surface facing toward the object side, a lens, which is second from the object side in the front group, is a second lens as a negative lens which has a concave surface facing toward the image side, and the front group includes at least three negative lenses, which include the first lens and the second lens, and at least one positive lens. The imaging lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions.

    Abstract: The zoom lens includes, in order from the object side, a first lens group that has a positive refractive power, a second lens group that has a negative refractive power, a third lens group that has a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group that has a positive refractive power and has a stop disposed to be closest to the object side. During zooming, the second lens group and the third lens group move, and the other lens groups remain stationary. The first lens group consists of, in order from the object side, two groups of cemented lenses in which a negative meniscus lens and a positive lens are cemented, and a cemented lens in which a positive lens and a negative lens are cemented. During focusing, only the cemented lens closest to the image side in the first lens group moves.
