    Abstract: An optical member includes aperture regions, a lens device, and an imaging apparatus. A lens device includes: an imaging optical system; a first polarizing part that polarizes at least a part of rays transmitted through the imaging optical system; and a filter unit that is disposed at a pupil position of the imaging optical system or near the pupil position, and includes aperture regions transmitting the rays of the imaging optical system and including a first aperture region and a second aperture region, wavelength selective filters disposed in the first aperture region and the second aperture region and transmitting pieces of light of which at least a part of wavelength ranges are different from each other, and a second polarizing filter including polarizing filters disposed in the first aperture region and the second aperture region and having polarization directions different from each other.

    Abstract: Provided are an imaging apparatus and a method capable of capturing a high-quality multi spectral image. The imaging apparatus includes: an optical system that has three or more aperture regions at a pupil position or near the pupil position, each of the aperture regions being provided with a different combination of a polarizing filter and a bandpass filter such that the aperture region transmits light having a combination of a different polarization angle and a different wavelength range; an image sensor in which three or more types of pixels that receive light having different polarization angles are arranged two-dimensionally; and a processor that performs interference removal processing on a signal output from the image sensor and generates an image signal for each of the aperture regions. In a case where the optical system has three or more types of the polarizing filters and the polarizing filters are arranged in an order of the polarization angles, at least one of differences in the polarization angles of the adjacent polarizing filters is different from the others.

    Abstract: Provided are an imaging device which can simultaneously capture images in different wavelength ranges and can improve a focusing accuracy of each image, an imaging optical system, and an imaging method. An imaging device (1) includes an imaging optical system (10) which has a first pupil region for passing light in a first wavelength range and a second pupil region for passing light in a second wavelength range, in which an axial chromatic aberration of the imaging optical system (10) is reduced based on a relationship between an aberration other than the axial chromatic aberration of the imaging optical system (10) and positions of the first pupil region and the second pupil region in the imaging optical system (10), an imaging element (100) which includes a first pixel receiving the light passing through the first pupil region in the imaging optical system (10) and a second pixel receiving the light passing through the second pupil region in the imaging optical system (10), and a signal processing unit (200) which processes a signal output from the imaging element (100), and generates each of a first image of the first wavelength range and a second image of the second wavelength range based on an output signal of the first pixel and an output signal of the second pixel.

    Abstract: Provided is an imaging apparatus that captures a multispectral image of four bands or more. An imaging apparatus (1) includes an imaging optical system (10), an image sensor (100), and a signal processing unit (200). The imaging optical system (10) includes a bandpass filter unit (16) of which at least one of aperture regions transmits light beams of a plurality of wavelength ranges, and a polarization filter unit (18) that polarizes the light beams transmitted through the bandpass filter unit (16) in a plurality of directions, in a vicinity of a pupil thereof. The image sensor (100) receives light beams transmitted through a plurality of types of spectral filter elements and a plurality of types of polarization filter elements. The signal processing unit (200) processes signals output from the image sensor (100) to generate a plurality of image signals. In the imaging apparatus (1), the number of transmission wavelength ranges of at least one of the aperture regions of the bandpass filter unit (16) is equal to or less than the number of transmission wavelength ranges of the spectral filter element.

During focusing from a distant object to a close-range object, the first lens group remains stationary, and the aperture stop and the second lens group integrally move to the object side. The imaging lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions relating to a focal length of the whole system, a focal length of the first lens group, a principal point position of the second lens group, a focal length of the second lens group, a back focal length, and the like.
