Abstract: The medical image processing device acquires the plurality of types of medical images obtained by imaging a subject under imaging conditions different from each other. In a case where a first medical image that is one type of the plurality of types of medical images is input, diagnosis information regarding a diagnosis of the subject shown in the first medical image is generated. Diagnostic reference information is generated using assigned reference information that is the reference information assigned to a second medical image which is included in the medical image and which has a type different from the first medical image.

Abstract: A processor apparatus functioning as the image processing apparatus includes: a first determination unit and a second determination unit learned by using a first learning data set and a second learning data set, respectively; a processor; and a memory storing a certainty-factor determination value. The processor acquires a first light source image and a second light source image obtained by photographing an evaluation target illuminated by a first light source and a second light source, respectively, inputs the first light source image to the first determination unit, calculates a determination certainty factor from a determination result of the first determination unit, and decides whether to use the determination result of the first determination unit or to use a determination result of the second determination unit based on the determination certainty factor and the certainty-factor determination value stored in the memory.

Abstract: A switching determination index value (red feature quantity), which is used to determine whether or not to switch a first observation environment to a second observation environment in which an object to be observed is enlarged at a second magnification ratio higher than a first magnification ratio is calculated on the basis of a first medical image that is obtained in the first observation environment in which the object to be observed is enlarged at the first magnification ratio. Whether or not to switch the first observation environment to the second observation environment is determined on the basis of the switching determination index value. The first observation environment is switched to the second observation environment by a specific operation in a case where it is determined that switching to the second observation environment is to be performed.

Abstract: There are provided an image forming apparatus and an image forming method in which the deformation of an image caused by the deformation of a medium is suppressed in the image formation on a medium to which tension is applied. Abstract: There are provided a medical image processing apparatus, an endoscope apparatus, a diagnostic support apparatus, and a medical service support apparatus capable of detecting red blood cells using an endoscope image. A medical image processing apparatus includes: a medical image acquisition unit that acquires short wavelength medical images, which are medical images including a subject image and which are obtained by imaging a subject with light in a shorter wavelength band than a green wavelength band; and a red blood cell detection unit that detects red blood cells using the short wavelength medical images. The light in the short wavelength band is, for example, light in a blue band or a violet band of a visible range. The red blood cell detection unit detects, for example, a high-frequency, granular, and high-density region as red blood cells.
