A method of transmitting motion information for metaverse concert includes: generating, by a performance directing system, original motion information including frames where performer's action is recorded; generating processed motion information having a lower frames per second (FPS) than the original motion information; generating verified motion information by extracting information on position on a part of performer's body in the original motion information; transmitting the verified motion information to an audience client system; receiving the verified motion information; generating, by the audience client system, restored motion information having the same FPS as the original motion information by adding predicted frames for the removed frames to the processed motion information; verifying whether there is an error in the restored motion information; modifying and supplementing the restored motion information when there is the error; and assigning motion to a virtual character based on the supplemented motion information.

Provided is a method of selecting a two dimension (2D) image for three dimension (3D) reconstruction, the method including: receiving, by an image processing apparatus, 2D images captured at different positions or in different directions; estimating, by the image processing apparatus, a geometric structure of a camera based on feature points detected from the 2D images, and optimizing the geometric structure of the camera using a bundle adjustment (BA) technique; determining, by the image processing apparatus, a priority for each of the 2D images based on a number of tie points used in the BA process; and selecting, by the image processing apparatus, final 2D images to be used for 3D reconstruction based on the priorities of the 2D images.

A method and a system for generating a 3D image of a character through steps of: receiving an identifier of a template and a two-dimensional (2D) image of the character generated based on the template corresponding to a type of the character; acquiring template information of the template from a template library by using the identifier, and extracting an effective parameter for machine learning to be performed to generate the 3D image based on the template information and the 2D image; and generating the 3D image of the character by performing the machine learning based on the effective parameter and the template information are provided.

Disclosed is a method of performing geometric correction on images obtained by multiple cameras and an image obtainment apparatus therefor, the method including: receiving the images obtained by the multiple cameras; extracting feature points of the received images and checking an interrelation between the extracted feature points; estimating locations and directions of the cameras, which respectively obtain the images, by using the interrelation between the feature points; calculating a relative geometric relationship between the multiple cameras from the estimated locations and directions of the cameras when the received images are determined as the images obtained by the multiple cameras with a fixed geometric interrelationship; and performing the geometric correction on each of the images by using the calculated geometric relationship. The method of efficiently performing geometric correction according to the embodiment of the present invention enables images to be obtained easily using the unmanned device with a short photographing time.
