Abstract: A method for determining an electronic spectacle frame element of a spectacle frame, including providing electronic element data relating to an electronic element to be embodied in a spectacle frame element; providing predetermined spectacle frame element data related to at least one geometrical parameter of a predetermined spectacle frame element, corresponding to the wearer demand; defining a working electronic spectacle frame element including a working spectacle frame element and an electronic element embodied in the working spectacle frame element based on the electronic element data, modifying the working electronic spectacle frame element, and determining the electronic spectacle frame element by repeating the modifying step so as to minimize the difference between the geometrical parameters of the predetermined spectacle frame element and the working spectacle frame element.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for determining a parameter of an optical equipment including an optical lens including permanent markings and being mounted in a spectacle frame, including: positioning the optical equipment is before a pattern in a first position; positioning a portable electronic device including an image acquisition module in a second position so as to acquire an image showing together the pattern seen through at least part of the optical lenses of the optical equipment in the first position and at least part of the spectacle frame of the optical equipment in the first position; detecting the permanent marking on the optical lens using the image acquired by the image acquisition module of the portable electronic device in the second position; and determining at least one parameter of the optical equipment based on the position of the permanent marking.

Abstract: A wearing detection module configured to be fixed on a spectacle frame element of a smart spectacle frame, the spectacle frame element including a first surface configured to face the wearer when using the smart spectacle frame and a second surface opposed to the first surface, and the wearing detection module including a pair of sensors configured to measure one parameter indicative of the distance between the spectacle frame element and the wearer, one sensor is arranged on the first surface and the other one is arranged on the second surface, and a processing unit configured to receive data indicative of the parameter sensed by each sensors and to determine a wearing data indicative of the use by the wearer of the smart spectacle frame based on the received data.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide an improved method for enabling consumers to identify and purchase a desired frame that is captured in an image. For example, in one embodiment, the disclosed embodiments include a frame recognition system that includes at least one processor for executing computer executable instructions for receiving an image; identifying a frame image from the image; performing image recognition using the frame image to identify a plurality of frames; retrieving merchant information corresponding to the plurality of frames; receiving merchant information associated with the plurality of frames; presenting the plurality of frames and the merchant information associated with the plurality of frames; receiving order information in response to a user ordering a frame from the plurality of frames; and processing the order information.
