Abstract:
A method and apparatus of selecting a transmission rate in a wireless transmission system are provided. The method of selecting a transmission rate by a transmission rate selecting apparatus may comprise assigning a weight to each of criteria for selecting a transmission rate per service class, calculating a score for each transmission rate per service class using statistics information collected for a plurality of transmission rates based on the weight-assigned criteria, and selecting a transmission rate for a service class based on the calculated score.
Abstract:
Provided are a frame transmission method performed in an access point (AP), a frame reception method performed in a terminal, and an AP. The frame transmission method performed in an AP includes acquiring a channel for transmitting a first data unit of a first terminal, when a data unit to be transmitted to at least one terminal other than the first terminal is in the AP, generating a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) including the first data unit and the data unit to be transmitted to the at least one terminal, and transmitting the PPDU to the first terminal and the at least one terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the performance of a wireless local area network (WLAN).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a discovery method of neighbor node in a wireless local area network (LAN). The discovery method includes performing a scanning procedure, performing an authentication procedure with a first terminal detected through the scanning procedure, performing an association procedure with the first terminal in which the authentication procedure has been performed, acquiring, from the first terminal, a scanning result of a scanning procedure having been performed in the first terminal, and generating a first AP list based on a scanning result of a scanning procedure having been performed in the first AP and the scanning result of the scanning procedure having been performed in the first terminal Therefore, interference problems between neighbor access points (APs) may be solve.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a contention based channel occupying method in a wireless network using a plurality of channels, including: acquiring, by terminals that are incapable of transmitting a data frame through primary contention, occupation channel information from a terminal that transmits the data frame through the primary contention; verifying, by the terminals, an occupiable channel based on the occupation channel information; and performing, by the terminals, secondary contention in the occupiable channel.
Abstract:
An antenna for charging and measurement may comprise: a telescopic support installed at a lower portion of an aerial vehicle and configured to contract when the aerial vehicle lands on a wireless station and extend when the aerial vehicle takes off from the wireless station; and an antenna coil part deformed into a spiral shape when the telescopic support is contracted so that the wireless station receives wireless power and deformed into a conical shape when the telescopic support is extended to measure a radio signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a communication method using interference alignment in a wireless local area network (WLAN). An access point (AP) according to one embodiment may receive first channel information between a station associated with the AP and the AP and second channel information between the station and a neighboring AP to perform interference alignment in cooperation with the AP from the station, and perform interference alignment based on the first channel information and the second channel information.

Abstract:
Disclosed are methods of exchanging messages necessary for interaction among entities in a coexistence management system that manages a plurality of frequency sharing devices. Specifically, a method of exchanging messages in a coexistence management system including a coexistence enabler (CE), a coexistence manager (CM), and a coexistence discovery and information server (CDIS) includes generating, by the CM, a ReconfigurationRequest message, sending the ReconfigurationRequest message to the CE, and waiting for a ReconfigurationResponse message from the CE. The ReconfigurationRequest message includes at least one of an operating channel list of a white space object (WSO) served by the CE, a transmission power limitation, a flag indicating whether or not a channel is shared, a transmission schedule, and channel classification information.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for avoiding interference in a wireless local area network system and an apparatus for performing the same. The method for avoiding interference by an access point in a wireless local area network system, includes receiving channel scan results from a station associated with the access point; setting connection with an adjacent access point based on the channel scan results; determining an access point to be associated with the station through negotiation with the adjacent access point; and transmitting a reassociation request message to request reassociation with the adjacent access point to the station when the negotiation with the adjacent access point succeeds.
Abstract:
Provided is a communication device and a method of allocating a partial band to avoid interference in the partial band, wherein the method includes extracting at least one partial band in which interference occurs from a plurality of partial bands constituting an operating channel of a user terminal, determining an available partial band aside from the extracted partial band, and allocating the determined partial band to the user terminal.
