摘要： A backplane connector assembly includes a first backplane connector and a second backplane connector. The first backplane connector includes a number of first conductive terminals, a first insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The first metal shield includes a first elastic piece, and the second metal shield includes a second elastic piece. The second backplane connector includes a number of second differential signal terminals, an insulating block sleeved on the second differential signal terminals, and a metal shell sleeved on the insulating block. When the first backplane connector is mated with the second backplane connector, the first elastic piece and the second elastic piece are in contact with the metal shell to increase the grounding shielding area, reduce crosstalk and improve the quality of signal transmission.

摘要： An adapter connector includes a terminal assembly, a first adapter housing and a second adapter housing. The terminal assembly includes a first terminal clamping portion at a first end and a second terminal clamping portion at a second end. The terminal assembly includes a first terminal module including a first insulating block, a number of first adapter terminals, a first metal shield provided on a first side of the first insulating block, a second metal shield provided on a second side of the first insulating block, and a first conductive plate. The first adapter terminals include a number of first ground terminals. The first metal shield is in contact with one side of the first grounding terminals, and the first conductive plate is in contact with another side of the first ground terminal.

摘要： A shielding shell used to at least partially surround signal terminals includes a first side wall, a second side wall and a third side wall. The second side wall connects the first side wall and the third side wall. The first side wall and the third side wall are disposed face to face. An end of at least one of the first side wall, the second side wall and the third side wall includes a deflection portion bent inwardly. The deflection portion is used to guide insertion of the shielding shell into a mating connector. As a result, a better shielding effect on the signal terminals can be provided. Besides, it is easy to guide insertion of the shielding shell into the mating connector.

摘要： A terminal module includes a number of conductive terminals and an insulating frame. The conductive terminal includes a contact portion, a connection portion and a transition portion connected to the contact portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The contact portions of the differential signal terminals and the connection portions of the differential signal terminals are provided separately. As a result, the structure of the contact portions and the connection portions are simplified for easy manufacturing. The disclosure also discloses a backplane connector having the terminal module.

摘要： A backplane connector assembly includes a first backplane connector and a second backplane connector. The first backplane connector includes a number of first conductive terminals, a first insulating bracket, a first metal shield, a second metal shield and a shielding space. The second backplane connector includes a second terminal module. Each second terminal module includes mating terminals mated with the first conductive terminals and a shielding shell surrounding a periphery of the mating terminals. The shielding shell is received in the shielding space. As a result, the backplane connector assembly of the present disclosure reduces crosstalk and improves the quality of signal transmission.

摘要： An adapter connector includes a terminal assembly, a first adapter housing and a second adapter housing. The terminal assembly includes a first terminal clamping portion at a first end and a second terminal clamping portion at a second end. The first adapter housing includes a number of first receiving grooves for receiving the first terminal clamping portion. The second adapter housing includes a number of second receiving grooves for receiving the second terminal clamping portion. The terminal assembly is provided with a first lock assembly locked with the first adapter housing and a second lock assembly locked with the second adapter housing. This arrangement facilitates the assembly of the adapter connector.

摘要： A backplane connector includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. Each conductive terminal includes a connection portion and a contact portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first metal shield has a first elastic arm and a second elastic arm. The second metal shield has a third elastic arm and a fourth elastic arm. The first elastic arm and the third elastic arm are in contact with two opposite side surfaces of the contact portion of the first ground terminal. The second elastic arm and the fourth elastic arm are in contact with two opposite side surfaces of the contact portion of the second ground terminal. This arrangement increases the grounding shielding area, reduces crosstalk, and improves the quality of signal transmission.

The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first extension portion and the second extension portion in contact with the first ground terminal and the second ground terminal. As a result, a shielding space to enclose contact portions of the differential signal terminals is formed. This arrangement can provide better shielding for the differential signal terminals, reduce crosstalk, and improve the quality of signal transmission.
