Abstract: A challenge value is received at a network connected device from a first server. A secure communication channel is established with the first server based on the challenge value. A request is sent from the network connected device to a second server to authenticate with the second server, wherein sending the request comprises sending a challenge response based on the challenge value to the second server prior to receiving a challenge from the second server. A challenge decision is received from the second server at the network connected device. The network connected device authenticates with the second server in response to the challenge decision.

Abstract: Presented herein is a method that may include obtaining, by a session management node associated with a data session of a user equipment, an indication that an error has occurred at an endpoint of a first tunnel of the data session for the user equipment, the data session having a plurality of flows associated with the first tunnel and a second tunnel; transmitting, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), a request to modify resources for a first plurality of flows associated with the first tunnel; obtaining, from the AMF, a response including an indication of a new tunnel assigned to the first plurality of flows; and transmitting a request to a user plane function (UPF) including an identifier associated with the new tunnel for the first plurality of flows to facilitate transmitting data associated with the first plurality of flows over the new tunnel.

The network element also receives, from the charging function, a charging data response including one or more triggers and thresholds for the rating group for the offline charging.

Abstract: An enhanced, fixed broadband access network—mobile network integration for integrating fixed broadband access networks and mobile networks may include a network node having a Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) User Plane (UP) (BNG-UP) function operative to serve as a Branching Point (BP) User Plane Function (UPF). The network node may include a network interface to interface with a Control Plane (CP) for session management and a network interface to interface with a BNG Control Plane (BNG-CP) function. The network node may be configured to process UP traffic based on one or more sets of rules, to forward first UP traffic towards a first UPF to a Data Network (DN) and to forward second UP traffic towards a second UPF to a Local Area Data Network (LADN). Sessions with the CP for session management and the BNG-CP may be identified as related sessions for appropriate processing of the UP traffic.
