In an embodiment, a method is provided for utilizing a meta-model semantic network. In this method, a meta-model of the enterprise data is obtained. The meta-model provides semantic information regarding a definition of a business object. The meta-model is then used to generate a rule definition that maps enterprise data to a semantic object definition and a semantic relation definition. With the rule definition, embodiments may then generate a semantic object and a semantic relation from data extracted from the enterprise data. The semantic object and semantic relation are stored in the meta-model semantic network.

A multi-way valve, in particular for use in the refrigerant circuit of a refrigeration unit, includes a housing with several inlets and outlets and a chamber with several seats that are respectively allocated to one inlet or outlet. A closing member is allocated to each seat. The closing members are coupled to a cell that can be expanded and compressed by the action of a control pressure to block or release the allocated seat in accordance with the compression or expansion of the cell. According to the invention, the trim panel (1) is provided with at least one guide element (3), (12), (13) which is coupled, on the one hand, to the trim panel (1) and, on the other hand, to the viewing screen (6) and the axes of rotation of which run essentially parallel to one another. The multi-way valve also includes a closing element that can move between the seats and at least one actuator, which is provided in the form of an element made of a shape-memory alloy and capable of being displaced from one of the seats when the closing element is heated. The direction of displacement is transversal to the normal direction of the seat.

A housing of a multiway valve contains several inlets and outlets and a chamber containing several valve seats, each of which is allocated to one of the outlets. A closing device can be displaced between the valve seats. A cylinder contains a cylinder chamber having a fluid. A heating device is provided for heating the fluid and a plunger is provided that can be displaced in the cylinder by the pressure of the fluid. By its displacement, the plunger is able to dislodge the closing device from one of the valve seats.

In an embodiment, a method is provided for searching similar documents. Here, a document is accessed and terms from a metamodel semantic network is identified. The document is analyzed to identify a number of the terms from the metamodel semantic network that are also found in the document, and to identify a frequency of occurrence in the document for each term. A search is conducted for other documents having frequencies of occurrences that are similar to the identified frequency of occurrence. These other documents have been previously analyzed using the same terms from the metamodel semantic network.
