摘要: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable medium to perform operations including receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a base station of a wireless network, configuration information for selecting a resource for transmitting an uplink (UL) response message from the UE to the base station; receiving, by the UE in an RRC_INACTIVE state, a Mobile Terminated Small Data Transmission (MT-SDT) paging message from the base station; and transmitting, by the UE, the UL response message to the base station using at least one of (i) a first resource or the first resource type indicated by the MT-SDT paging message or (ii) a second resource selected based on the configuration information.

摘要: A technique for power saving, comprising establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a wireless system, entering an RRC connected mode based on the established RRC connection, receiving, from the wireless system, configuration information indicating a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle time, a DRX on time period, and an offset time, determining an enhanced wake-up signal (EWUS) monitoring occasion for a DRX cycle based on the offset time and the DRX on time period, monitoring, during a first DRX cycle, for an EWUS during the EWUS monitoring occasion associated with the first DRX cycle, receiving, from the wireless system, the EWUS during the EWUS monitoring occasion, determining that the EWUS indicates that the wireless device skip one or more future EWUS monitoring occasions, and skipping monitoring for the EWUS based on the indicated skipped one or more future EWUS monitoring occasions.

摘要: The implementations disclosed provide apparatus, systems, and methods for downlink control information (DCI) enhancement for a reduced-complexity new radio (NR) wireless device. The wireless device includes one or more processors configured to transmit a type of the wireless device to a base station communicatively coupled to the wireless device. A format of the DCI is received from the base station. The DCI includes multiple bit strings indicating a schedule of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The format specifies a respective number of bits for each bit string. The format is defined by the base station based on the type of the wireless device. The DCI is received from the base station using a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The multiple bit strings are extracted from the DCI based on the format of the DCI.

摘要: Aspects are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for secondary cell group (SCG) addition. A wireless device may establish communication with a first base station that is comprised in a master cell group (MCG) and a second base station that is comprised in the SCG. The wireless device may maintain timing advance (TA) parameters for performing uplink communication with the second base station. The wireless device may perform a plurality of signal quality measurements after receiving an indication to deactivate the SCG. The wireless device may determine whether to reuse the TA parameters for communicating with the second base station after receiving an indication. The determination may be based on comparing one or more signal quality measurements of the second base station to one or more signal quality thresholds.

A wireless device may establish communication with a first base station that is comprised a master cell group (MCG). The wireless device may receive signaling from the first base station configuring a second base station in a secondary cell group (SCG). The wireless device may establish communication with the second base station based on the signaling received from the first base station. At a first time, the wireless device may set the second base station in a deactivated state based on the signaling from the first base station configuring the second base station or establishing communication with the second base station. At a later time, the wireless device may set the second base station in an activated state and communicate with the first base station and the second base station.

摘要: Devices and associated methods for operating a dual-subscriber identity module (SIM) dual-standby (DSDS) user equipment device (UE) configured with a first SIM and a second SIM. The UE performs communications with a first cellular network using the first SIM and a first radio resource control (RRC) connection, and receives a request to perform a higher priority communication using the second SIM. In response to the request to perform the higher priority communication, the UE transmits a request to the first network to suspend the first RRC connection. After transmission of the request to suspend the first RRC connection, the UE receives a message from the first network to place the first RRC connection in an inactive state, and initiates a timer, wherein the timer is used to determine whether the first RRC connection remains in the inactive state or transitions to an idle state.
