    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and method for automatic task management and allocation in an airport. The method comprises receiving, at a receiving module, event data, wherein the event data comprises flight data and staff data, and wherein the staff data further comprises staff location data of a plurality of staff members; and storing, at a storage module, airport mapping data. The method then continues with a processor updating a current state of the airport based on the received event data, wherein the current state of the airport comprises a service level and comparing the service level to a threshold range. A resource allocation module may then send a task alert to one or more of the plurality of staff members if the service level is determined to be outside of the threshold range and subsequently clear the task alert if the service level is subsequently determined to be within the threshold range.

    Abstract: There is provided systems, methods and computer program products for dynamically allocating bandwidth of a network in a transportation network. The system comprises a module (103) that receives schedule data including data defining a plurality of different journeys and data defining an equipment type. The module (103) identifies an event type for each journey based on the schedule data and generates a request to change the bandwidth allocation of the network based on a first event type and the equipment type. This advantageously enables the system to efficiently allocate bandwidth to a plurality of customers without exceeding a network bandwidth capacity.

    Abstract: A weather drone comprising: a first sensor configured to repeatedly measure one or more parameters indicative of weather; a memory coupled to the first sensor and configured to store data recorded by the first sensor, the data comprising a series of repeatedly measured parameters; and a processor coupled to the first sensor and the memory. The processor is configured to analyse the data as it is being recorded by the first sensor, and determine if the data exceeds a first threshold value and/or falls below a second threshold value.     Abstract: A method and system for identity document verification issues a decentralised identifier for a passenger which is then used by a passport issuing authority to digitally sign passport data including enhanced biometric data including an image of the bearer. A copy of the signed data is provided to the bearer. Prior to travel the bearer submits APIS data and their decentralised identifier to the authorities at the arrival destination. This data is verified in advance and the bearer issued with authority to use a pre-authorised section at immigration. On arrival an image of the bearer is acquired and matched with records of pre-approved traveler. If a match is made, the bearer is permitted to pass through automatic border control gates. The matching process may use machine learning to reduce the set of pre-approved passengers used in the match based on predicted time of arrival at immigration.
