    Abstract: A condenser of a condensing-type clothes dryer includes a plurality of condensing ducts provided in a middle portion of a circulation duct, the condensing ducts condensing air being circulated there-through after being discharged from a drum; and a plurality of cooling fins provided to be in contact with an outer surface of the condensing ducts, wherein an interval or a pitch of the cooling fins is different partially according to a flow rate of air blown from a cooling fan for a heat-exchange with air flowing through the condensing duct. At this time, the pitch or interval of the cooling fins is narrow at a portion where air blown from the cooling fan flows fast, and the pitch or internal of the cooling fins is wide at a portion where air blown from the cooling fan flows slowly.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to cloth treating machines and methods for operating a cloth treating machine. The controls can supply an appropriate amount of water initially and subsequently based on one or more selected courses or modes of operating the cloth treating machine. For example, the cloth treating machine can supply an appropriate amount of water to a steam generator initially based on a selected course. The steam generator can use the water to generate steam to sanitize and de-wrinkle clothes placed inside a cabinet of the cloth treating machine. During operation, a sensor can sense the level of the water inside the steam generator. An appropriate amount of water can then be re-supplied subsequently based on the selected course or sensed water level, repeatedly. The operation of the cloth treating machine can improve efficiency by reducing the time taken to supply water and generate steam.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a cloth treating apparatus, which supplies hot air to a accommodating space receiving clothes to dry the clothes. The cloth treating apparatus includes a cabinet including a accommodating space to receive clothes, and an electric component chamber, in which a moisture supply device to spray steam to the accommodating space and a air supply device to supply hot air are installed; and a condensed water treating unit to treat condensed water, generated by condensing the steam sprayed to the accommodating space or the hot air supplied from the air supply device. Therefore, the cloth treating apparatus treats the condensed water generated in the accommodating space, and thus prevents the generation of substances harmful to the human body, such as mold, in the accommodating space.
