Abstract:
A super frame structure supporting a mesh network, and a beacon scheduling method. The super frame structure and the beacon scheduling method may support a mesh topology in a beacon enabled mode, may have an algorithm that is simple and easily realized via beacon scheduling using a distribution method, and may easily adapt to changes in a network environment.
Abstract:
A method of operating a device capable of periodically hopping a predetermined interval using a channel hopping sequence in order to improve low radio frequency (RF) reliability caused by single frequency based channel access.
Abstract:
A method for communication of a terminal and a method for communication of a base station are disclosed. Communication between a first base station with a problem in a backbone and a second base station located beyond the coverage of the degraded base station and neighboring the first base station is relayed by a terminal. Accordingly, the first base station is able to continuously provide service to subordinate stations.
Abstract:
A distributed channel hopping communication method in a low power wireless ad-hoc network. A beacon transmission and reception scheduling method using a distributed channel hopping method in a wireless ad-hoc network, the method includes: transmitting beacons using channel hopping, before establishing the wireless ad-hoc network including a plurality of nodes having a BP including at least one time slot, and receiving beacons of a plurality of neighboring nodes of each of the plurality of nodes; collecting information about the wireless ad-hoc network and information about the plurality of neighboring nodes from the received beacons; scheduling the receiving of the beacons that are transmitted from the plurality of neighboring nodes in the BP, using TDMA in each of the at least one time slot based on the information about the plurality of neighboring nodes; and scheduling transmitting of a beacon in each of the at least one time slot.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting routing information in a wireless network. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for forwarding node link information even in an environment having a limited bandwidth for transmitting routing information. A routing apparatus according to exemplary embodiment of the present invention stores network topology information in an link information unit, generates a routing update message according to a priority of each link information, and transmitting the routing update message to a network. The priority of each link information is decided based on change in network topology, and a reception time and a transmission time of link information. Accordingly, important link information can be propagated at fast speed.
Abstract:
A method for routing and setting up a connection to provide Quality of Service (QoS) required in a wireless network is provided, which allows to use a path capable of providing QoS higher than a certain level between a source node and a destination node. A routing apparatus includes: a connection management unit that receives a connection setup request directed to a destination node, determines a predicted path leading to the destination node and the next node, and transmits a connection setup request to the next node; a resource allocation unit that allocates resources so as to satisfy required QoS; a routing unit that measures available QoS information of a link and enables the exchange of information of the link including the QoS information with the nodes of the network; and a routing information management unit that stores received routing information.
Abstract:
Provided is a frame structure designed for distributed access control and OFDMA transmission in a wireless mesh network. Also, a communication method and a network node based on the frame structure are provided. Mesh nodes included in the wireless mesh network may use the frame structure and thus, may have a high prospect of transmitting a network configuration information message and scheduling information for obtaining a resource. Also, a scheduling process of the mesh nodes may be completed within a short period based on the frame structure.
