Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for informing a user equipment (UE) that which beam the UE is being served, for example, such as in relation to bandwidth part (BWP) switching in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). According to certain aspects, a network entity may transmit to a user equipment (UE) signaling indicating at least one BWP switch. The network entity provides, to the UE, an indication of a serving synchronization signal block (SSB) for the UE to use after the BWP switch.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a first physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using one or more physical layer (PHY) parameters associated with a first block error rate (BLER) target performance. The UE may receive, from the base station prior to expiration of a round trip timer associated with the first PUSCH, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a second PUSCH and configuring one or more PHY parameters associated with a second BLER target performance. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the second PUSCH using the PHY parameter(s) associated with the second BLER target performance, wherein the second PUSCH includes a retransmission of the first PUSCH or a new transmission based at least in part on a hybrid automatic repeat request process indicated in the DCI.
