Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may identify a first set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), within a synchronization signal (SS) burst set, that are used to indicate random access channel (RACH) occasions for a first wireless link type, the SS burst set including a second set of SSBs used to indicate RACH occasions for a second wireless link type; and transmit a RACH message in a RACH occasion corresponding to an SSB included in the first set of SSBs. In some aspects, a wireless node may configure an SS burst set to include a first set of SSBs to be used to indicate RACH occasions for a first wireless link type, and a second set of SSBs to be used to indicate RACH occasions for a second wireless link type; and transmit the SS burst set. Other aspects are provided.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support techniques for optimizing amplification parameters of repeaters based on signal characteristics. In aspects, a repeater determines at least one of power of a first signal received from a first wireless communication device or power of a second signal received from a second wireless communication device, adjusts at least one of a first amplification parameter associated with the first signal or a second amplification parameter associated with the second signal based, at least in part, on at least one of the determined power of the first signal or the determined power of the second signal, and transmits at least one of the first signal based, at least in part, on the adjusted first amplification parameter or the second signal based, at least in part, on the adjusted second amplification parameter.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a transmitting entity, such as a base station, to indicate to one or more receiving entities that SSBs of one or more cells (which may include the transmitting entity) are to be transmitted with modified configurations. The method may also enable the transmitting entity to transmit modified SSBs to enable network energy saving. In one aspect, a base station configures one or more cells of a plurality of cells with one or more modified SSBs associated with an ES mode. The base station transmits an indication of the one or more cells associated with a transmission of the one or more modified SSBs, the transmission of the one or more modified SSBs corresponding to an ES mode at the one or more cells, the one or more cells being associated with the base station or at least one other base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first device may receive a grant that schedules a wireless communication between the first device and a second device. The grant may indicate a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration for a set of symbols associated with the wireless communication. The first device may receive control signaling that indicates a phase discontinuity associated with a first subset of symbols of the set of symbols. The first device may receive the wireless communication during a second subset of symbols of the set of symbols based on the DMRS configuration and the indication of the phase discontinuity. The first device may perform channel estimation based on receiving the wireless communication during the second subset of symbols.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a parent node may configure first and second backhaul radio link control (RLC) channels based on requests received from a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) and a second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may select first and second logical channel identifiers for the first and second backhaul RLC channels, the second logical channel identifier being different from the first logical channel identifier, and may provide the first and second logical channel identifiers to the first IAB donor CU and the second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may receive a packet including either the first logical channel identifier or the second logical channel identifier, and process the packet based on which of the first and second logical channel identifiers is included in the packet. Other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support resource utilization based event triggering. A wireless node in a wireless communications system may establish a connection with a core network via a path that includes one or more relay nodes. The wireless node may determine that a network load associated with one or more paths between the wireless node and the core network has changed, or that a difference between two or more network loads of different paths has changed. Based on such a determination, the wireless node may transmit a report to the network. In some cases, the network may receive the report from the wireless node, and may initiate a path change based on the report.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for addressing scenarios where the minimum transmit power supported by an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node is above a minimum value specified by a standard. In some cases, the IAB node may signal information regarding its power configuration so a network entity of the IAB may take it into account (e.g., when allocating or scheduling resources). The power configuration may include an indication of the minimum transmit power supported by the IAB node and/or an indication of a guard band that may help the IAB node control adjacent channel leakage.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a central unit (CU) may determine a set of resources that is unavailable for use by a distributed unit (DU) of the CU, the set of resources including one or more resources. The CU may transmit information identifying the set of resources that is unavailable for use by the DU to cause an inferior node of the DU to refrain from using the set of resources that is unavailable for use by the DU. Numerous other aspects are provided.
