    Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication, including receiving a configuration of one or more downlink control information (DCI) formats to include a single bit for a redundancy version field. The implementations further include receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message indicating selectable redundancy versions. Additionally, the implementations further include detecting a DCI based on the one or more DCI formats including the single bit for the redundancy version field, the DCI scheduling a transmission. Additionally, the implementations further include selecting a redundancy version from the selectable redundancy versions based on the single bit. Additionally, the implementations further include encoding or decoding the transmission based on the redundancy version.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a downlink (DL) resource allocation feature in a wireless communication system, configured to address an issue that may arise in a sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) carrier (also sometimes called a flexible duplex carrier). For example, on an SBFD carrier, a slot may have a format where an uplink (UL) portion of the carrier is between two DL portions of the carrier. In a case where a scheduler operating in a New Radio (NR) network utilizes DL resource allocation of a particular type, it may arise that a portion of the DL allocation falls in the UL portion of the carrier. Accordingly, a scheduled entity may add the UL portion of the carrier to a set of resources that are indicated as not available for DL transmission. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to receiving, over downlink resources allocated in one or more symbols used for full-duplex communications, a first set of resource blocks having a first reference signal configuration that is different in at least one of uniformity or density, in frequency, of resource elements indicated for receiving a reference signal than a second reference signal configuration. At least a first number of resource elements in the first set of resource blocks can be calculated based on the first reference signal configuration, which can facilitate determination of transport block size for decoding downlink communications. Another aspect relates to transmitting according to the first reference signal configuration and/or second reference signal configuration.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to resource selection by a first device within a wireless communication network. A second device may reserve resources for a first transmission and a retransmission to at least one third device over a direct link. If the strength of a signal received from the second device is greater than a threshold, the first device may detect feedback from the at least one third device to determine whether there will be a retransmission. If there will not be a retransmission, the first device may add to a candidate set at least one resource that overlaps with at least one of the resources previously reserved for the retransmission. If the signal strength is less than a threshold, the first device may, without detecting the feedback, add to a candidate set of resources at least one resource that overlaps with at least one of the resources previously reserved for the retransmission.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may apply a timing adjustment for a sidelink connection with a second UE, wherein the timing adjustment causes a slot structure on the sidelink connection to align with a slot structure on an uplink connection with a base station; and transmit sidelink feedback, received via the sidelink connection, on the uplink connection based at least in part on the timing adjustment, wherein the sidelink feedback is mapped to a slot on the uplink connection, of two or more slots on the uplink connection that the sidelink feedback overlaps, based at least in part on a rule.
