    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may encode, for a first set of resource elements (REs), a first layer for sidelink control information. The UE may encode, for a second set of REs, a second layer for sidelink data, wherein the first set of REs and the second set of REs are associated with a same one or more symbols. The UE may transmit, to another UE and based at least in part on applying superposition coded modulation (SCM) to the first layer and the second layer, the sidelink control information using the first set of REs and the sidelink data using the second set of REs. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for configuring, in a slot, a first code block group (CBG) occupying one or more first frequency resources, a second CBG occupying one or more second frequency resources different from the one or more first frequency resources, and sidelink control information (SCI) indicating the first CBG is frequency divisional multiplexed with the second CBG, and transmitting the first CBG, the second CBG, and the SCI via a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) to a second UE.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to resource reservation for sidelink communication over a shared radio frequency band are provided. The method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes performing, in a shared radio frequency band, a listen-before-talk (LBT) for a first channel occupancy time (COT) and transmitting, during the first COT, a COT structure indicator, wherein the COT structure indicator reserves at least one resource within a second COT different than the first COT.
