Abstract: This application provides a handover method and apparatus in satellite communications. The handover method in satellite communications in this application includes: obtaining, by a terminal device, ephemeris information of first satellite base stations, where the first satellite base stations are satellite base stations that cover the terminal device; determining, by the terminal device based on the ephemeris information, a destination satellite base station to which the terminal device needs to hand over; determining, by the terminal device based on the determined destination satellite base station, a first time at which the terminal device is to hand over to the destination satellite base station; and handing over, by the terminal device based on the determined first time, to a destination cell served by the destination satellite base station.

The communication apparatus inputs the N2 high-dimensional signal vectors to an interaction layer of the neural network, to obtain a feature between the N2 high-dimensional signal vectors and a feature of each high-dimensional signal vector. The communication apparatus inputs the feature between the N2 high-dimensional signal vectors and the feature of each high-dimensional signal vector to an output layer of the neural network for an operation, to obtain an output signal vector.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes generating a first signal and sending a first signal, where the first signal includes an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, a first-type cyclic prefix (CP), and a second-type CP. CP resources of the first-type CP include two types of CP resources: a first CP resource and a second CP resource. CP resources of the second-type CP include one type of CP resource, that is, the second CP resource. The first CP resource may be used to carry data that is different from data carried on the OFDM symbol. The second CP resource may be used to carry data that is the same as the data carried on the OFDM symbol.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a beam information indication method and an apparatus. The terminal device obtains reference domain information of a plurality of beams and a first offset corresponding to each moment, to update beam domain information, where the first offset indicates an offset of domain information of the plurality of beams relative to the reference domain information of the plurality of beams. In technical solutions provided in this disclosure, domain information of the plurality of beams can be updated with low signaling overheads. The technical solutions may be applied to a satellite communication system, to implement interference management of satellite beams.

Abstract: This application provides a polar encoding method and apparatus. The method can include obtaining a basic sequence, where the basic sequence includes N0 subchannel numbers. The method can also include sequentially reading first subchannel numbers from the basic sequence, and sequentially reading 2m second subchannel numbers from the basic sequence starting from an Mth subchannel number based on the first subchannel number read each time; and adding q*N0 to each of the 2m second subchannel numbers to obtain 2m third subchannel numbers. Furthermore, the method can include constructing a polar code by using subchannels corresponding to the 2m third subchannel numbers as information bits. A polar code with another code length is constructed based on a sequence with a length of N0. A length of a polar code that needs to be stored is therefore reduced, which reduces complexity and is also easy to implement.

Information bits corresponding to subchannel sequence numbers in the set I are distributed in X outer component codes, a code length of each outer component code is B, and the X outer component codes includes a first-type outer component code and a second-type outer component code or the X outer component codes include a first-type outer component code, a second-type outer component code, and one third-type outer component code. Different types of component codes have different code rates. The method additionally includes performing polarization encoding based on the set I and the set F.

The submatrix a is a polar kernel matrix with a size of 2m*2m, m is a natural number, and N is a natural number. The sending device may send the encoded codeword.

Abstract: Adjusting an operating frequency of a CPU includes setting the operating frequency for a current operating cycle based on a CPU load in a prior operating cycle and a target CPU load. A current CPU load associated with the current processing cycle is detected. The CPU operating frequency is adjusted to a new operating frequency based on a difference between the target CPU load and the current CPU load. The operating frequency is adjusted based on minimizing the difference between the target CPU load and the detected load. A CPU load error is determined based on the current CPU load and the target CPU load. The target CPU load is adjusted based on the determined CPU load error and a threshold load error. A prediction is generated on whether to perform a new adjustment of the operating frequency of the CPU prior to expiration of a threshold time duration.
