    Abstract: The present disclosure provides various aspects related to techniques for generating trigger frames, at an access point (AP), that reduce the overhead associated with triggering an uplink transmission from the wireless station (STA). Features of the present disclosure achieve this by, for example, utilizing a single per-user information field of the trigger to signal a plurality of random access resource units that may be allocated to the one or more STAs in the network. Such a technique is an improvement over the conventional system that require each random access resource unit to be signaled separately in a separate per-user information field (thus increasing the overhead). Additionally, aspects of the present disclosure allow the AP to effectively signal to the STA whether the one or more resources allocated to the at least one STA are a single user resource unit allocation or a multi-user resource unit allocation.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication are disclosed herein. One aspect of the disclosure provides a method of transmitting to two or more wireless communication devices. The method includes transmitting a first section of a preamble according to a first format, the first section of the preamble containing information informing devices compatible with the first format to defer to the transmission, transmitting a second section of the preamble according to a second format, the second section of the preamble containing tone allocation information, the tone allocation information identifying two or more wireless communication devices; and transmitting data to the two or more wireless communication devices simultaneously, the data contained on two or more sub-bands.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may identify a transmission mode for transmission of an input signal to be transmitted. The input signal may thus be modulated according to the identified transmission mode, and the modulated signal may then be transmitted at some power level to produce a transmitted signal having a spectral envelope. In some cases, the spectral envelope may be defined in terms of a power spectral density (PSD) of the transmitted waveform. The PSD may generally define the power of the waveform signal distributed over frequencies of the waveform. Further, the wireless device may control the modulation of the input signal, in addition to the power level of the input signal, to maintain the spectral envelope to be within a spectral mask defined for the implemented transmission mode as well as to conform to spectral flatness parameters.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to signaling medium reservation information medium sharing among multiple radio technologies (RATs) are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a reservation signal to reserve a transmission opportunity (TXOP) in a spectrum. The spectrum is shared by multiple RATs. The reservation signal includes a plurality of first waveform sequences indicating medium reservation information detectable by the multiple RATs. The first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device are associated with a first RAT of the multiple RATs. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device using the first RAT, a communication signal in the spectrum during the TXOP.
