    Abstract: A base station may transmit a quasi-collocation (QCL) relationship indication to a user equipment (UE) that indicates different QCL groups (e.g., QCL relationships corresponding to different port groups). The QCL relationship indication may include a tuple of transmission configuration indication (TCI)-states, TCI-states configured with TCI-state-sets, or multiple TCI-states indicated via an extended media access control (MAC) control element (CE). The QCL relationship indication may indicate a QCL relationship between one or more port groups of a first reference signal set and a plurality of port groups associated with a target reference signal. For example, the QCL relationship indication may indicate two QCL groups, where each QCL group includes a QCL relationship between a reference signal resource and a port group associated with a target reference signal. Using QCL group information, the UE may perform channel estimation for demodulating target reference signals, using the QCL antenna port group.

In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit an indication to a base station to configure a control channel of a downlink beam in accordance with a full duplex failure detection control resource set (CORESET), wherein the full duplex failure detection CORESET is used based at least in part on the UE being associated with a full duplex communication link that includes the downlink beam and an uplink beam; and monitor a reference signal on the control channel of the downlink beam based at least in part on the full duplex failure detection CORESET in order to detect a beam failure on the downlink beam while transmitting the uplink beam, wherein monitoring the reference signal is based at least in part on a threshold that is based on one or more uplink transmission parameters. The beam failure indication may be provided via a dedicated physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource. The beam index report may be provided to cause recovery of the secondary cell to be triggered.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Uplink random access channel (RACH) transmissions may be sent on multiple beams by a user equipment (UE). For example, a UE may transmit a random access preamble to a base station in a first RACH transmission, and the base station may respond with a random access response in a second RACH transmission. The second RACH transmission may include an indication for the UE to use multiple transmit beams for a third RACH transmission. Using the indication received from the base station, the UE may proceed to use the indicated two or more beams when sending the third RACH transmission to the base station. Upon receiving the third RACH transmission from the UE, the base station may respond with a fourth RACH transmission, which may further include an indication to the UE to transmit an acknowledgment using one or more beams.

A user equipment (UE) may determine, during a beam failure recovery period, that a configured control resource set at least partially overlaps with a beam failure recovery control resource set. The UE may configure, based at least in part on the at least partial overlap, a receive beam to receive the beam failure recovery control resource set. The UE may receive a control signal over the beam failure recovery control resource set during the beam failure recovery period.
