    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam failure detection per beam. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes communicating with a network entity via a plurality of beams associated with a cell; performing a beam failure detection procedure per beam of the plurality of beams; and triggering a beam failure recovery procedure for a first beam of the plurality of beams in response to detecting a first beam failure for the first beam.

    Abstract: A network access node including a transceiver coupled to a sidelink receiver user equipment (UE) (or to a sidelink transmitter UE) is disclosed. The network access node may obtain a network access interface discontinuous reception (DRX) slot offset value (or a sidelink interface DRX slot offset value) corresponding to a shift in a network access interface DRX Active state start time (or a sidelink interface DRX Active state start time) of the receiver UE. The shift may configure an alignment of a sidelink interface DRX Active state start time (or the network access interface DRX Active state start time) with the network access interface DRX Active state start time (or the sidelink interface DRX Active state start time). The network access interface DRX (or sidelink interface DRX) slot offset value may be transmitted to the receiver UE.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication between at a base station and a user equipment is provided that accommodates multiple data streams of varying traffic characteristics. The base station may configure semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions having a particular periodicity. Each SPS occasion having multiple slots associated with multiple physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH). A message is transmitted to a user equipment (UE) indicating the SPS occasions. Subsequently, the base station transmits data to the UE over the multiple PDSCH during the indicated SPS occasions. The base station can dynamically adjust the number of PDSCH for an SPS occasion, wherein different number of PDSCH are used in two sequential SPS occasions. Also, the PDSCH in a same SPS occasion may use at least one of: different encoding schemes or different modulation schemes.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication may include a UE and a base station. The base station may transmit at least one BFD-RS to the UE and the UE may receive at least one BFD-RS from a base station. The UE may transmit an aperiodic BFI report to the base station prior to a beam failure detection. The base station may determine that an early beam failure occurred and initiate a beam failure recovery in response to receiving the aperiodic BFI report from the UE.
