Abstract: A configuration for a device to interleave a codeword, where the codeword is based on an enhanced noncoherent error correction code. The apparatus encodes a set of bits based on a noncoherent error correction code to generate a first codeword. The apparatus interleaves the first codeword to permute coded bits of the first codeword into a second codeword. The apparatus transmits the second codeword to a second device.

Abstract: Aspects relate to supporting power control for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions on an uplink secondary component carrier (SCC) of a wireless communication system. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) receives a power control configuration from a base station for use by the UE for a PUCCH transmission on a selected uplink SCC. The UE then transmits, based at least in part on the power control configuration, the PUCCH to the base station on the selected uplink SCC. Closed-loop and open-loop power control examples are provided. In some aspects, common or shared power control configurations are provided by the base station for use with each component carrier of a PUCCH group. In other aspects, carrier-specific power control configurations are provided by the base station.

The CG-SDT group is associated with a downlink beam of the base station and one or more CG-SDT occasions. The UE may transmit, to the base station and within the one or more CG-SDT occasions, an uplink communication, using an uplink beam of the UE corresponding to a downlink beam of the UE, where the downlink beam of the UE is associated with the downlink beam of the base station used for transmitting at least one of the configuration message, a paging message, or a reference signal. Each of the plurality of ComReSets has a corresponding periodicity of one or more hyper-frames. The first UE communicates with the second UE using the first ComReSet using a frame timing synchronized with the corresponding periodicity of the first ComReSet.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enhance a HARQ feedback operation to improve data retransmissions by using tri-state HARQ feedback, and may enable a UE to construct a codebook for tri-state HARQ feedback. In one aspect, a UE determines whether tri-state HARQ feedback or bi-state HARQ feedback is configured based on a DL carrier. The UE generates HARQ feedback for at least one of a received PDCCH or a received PDSCH on the DL carrier based on the determination whether the DL carrier is configured with the tri-state HARQ feedback. The UE transmits the generated HARQ feedback.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for a first DL transmission on a first downlink (DL) resource on a carrier, the first DL resource being at a first frequency. The first DL resource may be at a first frequency. The first Tx power may have a power level configured based on a difference between the first frequency for the first DL resource and an uplink (UL) frequency region of the carrier. Then, the base station may transmit the first DL transmission using the first frequency and the first Tx power. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
