Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a frequency reuse method and a related apparatus. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: sending, by an access point, a first message to a station, where the first message carries indication information indicating that a basic service set is in a fractional frequency reuse mode; receiving, by the access point, a second message sent by the station, where the second message carries indication information indicating that the station supports the fractional frequency reuse mode; and communicating, by the access point, with the station in the fractional frequency reuse mode after the access point determines, according to the second message, that the station supports the fractional frequency reuse mode. In the embodiments of the present invention, frequency interference in a Wi-Fi network can be effectively reduced.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and device for acquiring and transmitting data by an STA in a wireless local area network. The method includes: transmitting, by the STA, a PS-Poll, and receiving downlink data returned by the AP upon receipt of the PS-Poll, in a reserved time period within a current beacon interval according to a TIM contained in a beacon, after learning that the AP has the downlink data of the STA according to the received beacon, wherein the reserved time period is a period of time interval within the beacon interval; retransmitting, by the STA, the PS-Poll after the reserved time period to acquire the downlink data, if the STA can not successfully receive the downlink data within the reserved time period. Through the above solution, a mechanism is provided to address a situation that unsuccessful receiving/transmission of data can not be handled.
Abstract:
An apparatus, method, and system to provide a backoff method and device used for a lower priority access category AC. The method includes: when the lower priority AC and another AC in a same station STA obtain a transmission opportunity TXOP at the same time and an internal collision occurs, detecting a TXOP sharing state of the lower priority AC; and executing backoff of the lower priority AC according to the detected TXOP sharing state.
Abstract:
A data sending method of a terminal, including sending a data frame to a relay, where the data frame includes a relay information bit, the relay information bit identifies whether the relay needs to forward the data frame, and if the relay information bit indicates that the relay needs to forward the data frame, the data frame is forwarded to an access point by the relay; and receiving a response message of the access point, where the response message is used indicates that the data frame is correctly received by the access point.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a link adaptation feedback method and a transmitting device. The method includes: receiving, by a transmitting device, a link adaptation feedback frame sent by a receiving device, where the link adaptation feedback frame carries space-time block coding type indication information; and determining, by the transmitting device according to the space-time block coding type indication information, information about use of space-time block coding by a data frame related to the link adaptation feedback frame, and selecting, according to the use information, a space-time stream, and a modulation and coding scheme used when the transmitting device sends a data frame. Through the embodiments of the present invention, and according to the use information, the transmitting device may select the space-time stream, and the MCS used when the transmitting device sends a data frame, thereby improving link performance.
Abstract:
The method includes: obtaining an initial power allocation ratio of an edge user, and receiving a first SINR sent by the edge user at the initial power allocation ratio; calculating a first power allocation ratio according to the first SINR, selecting a greater power allocation ratio A, and receiving a second SINR sent by the edge user at the power allocation ratio A; determining a third SINR between a first SINR value and a second SINR value; and calculating a second power allocation ratio according to the third SINR, selecting a greater power allocation ratio B, and adjusting power allocation according to the power allocation ratio. Embodiments of the present invention mainly apply to a power control process in the Co-MIMO system.
Abstract:
This application provides communication methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage media. In an example, a value of a specific element of a first access point (AP) (or a second AP) is reused in a management frame, to indicate specific elements of a plurality of APs in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set to which the first AP (or the second AP) belongs. The management frame does not need to carry a plurality of same specific elements in the multiple BSSID set. The described techniques can be applied to, for example, a wireless local area network system supporting IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi protocols, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as the 802.11be or the EHT.
Abstract:
A resource indication method includes generating, by an access point, resource mapping information, where the resource mapping information includes a plurality of mapping segments, each mapping segment is associated with a frame type, each mapping segment includes a plurality of resource indicators, and each resource indicator indicates a resource allocated to a station in a frame corresponding to a frame type associated with a mapping segment to which the resource indicator belongs, and sending, by the access point, the resource mapping information.
Abstract:
A signal synchronization method includes sending a narrowband signal, where a PPDU of the narrowband signal includes at least one pilot symbol, and the pilot symbol and the PPDU are used by a receiving device to obtain time-frequency synchronization information of an ultra-wideband signal, and sending the ultra-wideband signal. A carrier frequency offset is estimated based on these inserted pilot symbols and a preamble in the PPDU.
