Abstract: The method includes generating, by an access point (AP), signaling that includes an AP identifier (ID) field, a bandwidth (BW) field, a guard interval (GI) field, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field, and a tail field, the AP ID field is used to indicate an ID of the AP, the BW field is used to indicate bandwidth required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the GI is used to indicate a length of a cyclic prefix (CP) required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the CRC field is used to guard a field before the CRC field in the signaling, and the Tail field is used to empty an encoder and a decoder, where the CRC field and the Tail field are the last two fields of the signaling. The method also includes sending, by the AP, the signaling.

Abstract: A method comprises constructing, by an access point (AP), a radio frame within a scheduling window, the radio frame including at least a preamble part compatible with an existing IEEE 802.11 preamble legacy preamble, a preamble part used in a next-generation IEEE 802.11 standard (HEW preamble), and the first downlink subframe (DL subframe); sending the Legacy preamble, the HEW preamble and the first DL subframe in the radio frame; receiving at least one uplink subframe (UL subframe) located after the first DL subframe; wherein each of the at least one UL subframes is triggered by one DL subframe located before the UL subframe.

Abstract: A WLAN system resource indication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: generating, by an access point, a frame that carries resource indication information; and sending, to multiple stations, the frame that carries the resource indication information. The resource indication information includes multiple pieces of sub resource indication information. Correspondingly, each piece of the sub resource indication information uniquely corresponds to one of the multiple stations. Therefore, a station side does not need read the entire resource indication information, so as to reduce resource overheads and improve efficiency.

Abstract: An OFDMA subframe carrying different data fields in different time segments may include a separate short training field (STF), and a separate set of long training fields (LTFs), for each of the data fields to accommodate time-reuse scheduling. Communicating a separate STF for each data field may allow receivers to re-adjust automatic gain control (AGC) when the data fields carry different numbers of space-time-streams. Likewise, communicating separate sets of LTFs for each data field may allow different beamforming parameters to be applied to different data fields.
