Abstract:
A voice authentication system using a removable voice ID card comprises: at server side, a voiceprint database for storing the voiceprints of all authorized users; a voiceprint updating means for updating the voiceprints in said voiceprint database; and a voiceprint digest generator for generating a voiceprint digest according to a request from a client; at client side, a voice ID card for storing the voiceprint of an authorized user; a validation means for validating the voiceprint in the voice ID card on the basis of the voiceprint digest from the server; an audio device for performing voice interaction with a user; and a voice authentication means for determining whether the voiceprint from said voice ID card is of the same speaker as the voice from said audio device.
Abstract:
A system includes at least one wireless client device, a service manager, and a plurality of voice transcription servers. The service manager includes a resource management service and a profile management service. The client device communicates the presence of a voice transcription task to the resource management service. The resource management service surveys the plurality of voice transcription servers and selects one voice transcription server based on a set of predefined criteria. The resource management service then communicated an address of the selected server to the profile management service, which then transmits a trained voice profile or default profile to the selected server. The address of the selected server is then sent to the client device, which then transmits an audio stream to the server. Finally, the selected server transcribes the audio stream to a textual format.
Abstract:
A method, system and computer program product for alerting a participant when a topic of interest is being discussed and/or a speaker of interest is speaking during a conference call. A participant to a conference call identifies the topics and/or speakers of interest which is stored for future use along with the participant's contact information. When a participant's identified topic of interest is being discussed and/or a participant's identified speaker of interest is speaking during a conference call, the participant will be alerted to that fact, such as via the means specified in the participant's contact information.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus, system, and method to continuously authenticate a user of a mobile device. The mobile device includes a user interface, a transceiver, a microphone, and processor. The processor continuously samples a user's voice from the microphone during a call by obtaining voice snippets on a pre-defined periodic basis or on a random basis. The processor further compares the sampled voice from the microphone to a stored voice to authenticate a valid user, wherein if the sampled voice matches the stored voice for a valid user, functionality of the mobile device continues. On the other hand, if the sampled voice does not match the stored voice for a valid user, functionality of the mobile device is locked.
Abstract:
A system for facilitating to an end-user the recognition of other participants attending a conference call, comprising means attached to the end-user's telephone for receiving signals from the telephone line, means for analyzing the telephone line signals and associating a unique caller identification to each new participant joining the conference call, means for associating with each such caller identification, a unique position in a representation of the conference call, and means for representing to the end-user such unique position for all participants in the conference call.
Abstract:
A method for spotting an interaction in which a target speaker associated with a current index or current interaction speaks, the method comprising: receiving an interaction and an index associated with the interaction, the index associated with additional data; receiving the current interaction or current index associated with the target speaker; obtaining current data associated with the current interaction or current index; filtering the index using the additional data, in accordance with the current data associated with the current interaction or current index, and obtaining a matching index; and comparing the current index or a representation of the current interaction with the matching index to obtain a target speaker index.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, there is provided an audio signal processor. The processor includes: a person position detector configured to detect each position of one or more persons present in a specific space; a grouping module configured to allocate the detected persons to one or more groups, wherein the number of the groups is less than a given number; a plurality of directionality controllers configured to control directionality of a microphone array; and a directionality setting module configured to set directionality of each of the groups in a corresponding one of the directionality controllers.
Abstract:
A system including a conferencing telephone coupled to or in communication with an identification service. The identification service is configured to poll user devices of conference participants to determine or confirm identities. In response, the user devices transmit audio electronic business cards, which can include user voice samples and/or preprocessed voice recognition data. The identification service stores the resulting audio electronic business card data. When the corresponding participant speaks during the conference, the identification service identifies the speaker.
Abstract:
A method is provided for operating a communications system that provides a service, where a plurality of parties may be associated with members of an account with the system to receive the service. The method includes receiving a call from one of a plurality of members of an account, the call including a request for a service, where a common bill is provided for services rendered to the members of the account. An identifier to be used to identify the one party from among the plurality of members is received from the one party among the plurality of members. The common bill is provided for services rendered to the plurality of members of the account to a communications device via a network. In the common bill an indicator is provided of the one party requesting the service in association with a respective entry for the requested service.
Abstract:
A system is presented for logging and recording a call to a call network. The system comprises a voice print logic for generating a voice print of a caller who is making a call to a call network. A telecom routing switch generates a correlated telecom router switch log file by appending the voice print of the caller to a telecom router switch log file for the call. A telecom software system generates a correlated telecom software system log file by appending the voice print of the caller to a telecom software system log file for the call. A contact center agent generates a correlated contact center agent log file by appending the voice print of the caller to a contact center agent log file for the call. The voice print is utilized to retrieve and to consolidate the correlated telecom router switch log file, the correlated telecom software system log file, and the correlated contact center agent log file into a single correlated file for the call.
